Stunning! Relaxing! Can't wait to return! See why our guests keep coming back to this AirBnb! Completely remodeled 3 bd/2 ba house near CSULB, 10 min to the beach & vibrant 2nd St-Belmont Shore + near all freeways. Open and bright, stocked w/everything you could need, ACs, 2 fireplaces and a fenced tree-lined backyard w/large patio + a fire pit & BBQ to enjoy. Garage game room! Get the comfort of a quiet family neighborhood, easy parking & coastal breezes. We strive to make you feel at home!

The Space:
Beautiful hardwood floors throughout the house, with two living room areas, an open kitchen plus all the kitchen items you could ever need, two gas fireplaces, three bedrooms, and two full bathrooms. High quality comfort with a fun coastal style. TVs and A/C's in every room, games, a great patio, and a backyard to relax in. Everything you would need for your guests or your family to relax and have a great time!

Guest Access:
You will have your own unique access with the door code, along with a key for the back door, plus a private driveway to park in, which will fit at least 2 cars. You will have access to the garage for using the washer & dryer, and all of the sports equipment. Even a foosball/air hockey table!

The Neighborhood:
Quiet family neighborhood close to everything! You will see kids playing outside and neighbors walking their dogs. Very relaxed with coastal breezes. You can easily walk to El Dorado Park - Summer Concerts, play area, skate board area, tennis area, golf and nature center. A shopping center with grocery stores, a pharmacy & restaurants is right around the corner.

Getting Around:
There is a driveway to park your vehicle. But Uber & Lyft are readily available. The municipal bus lines are 2 blocks away.

Other Things to Note:
There is a full size washer & dryer are in the garage, a fire pit in the backyard with outdoor strung lights, plus lots of beach gear, chairs, wagon, tennis rackets, Foosball table plus so much more!
Walk across the main street to El Dorado Park - Summer Concerts in the Park on Friday nights or the tennis courts, skateboard park, kids play area, baseball and soccer fields. You may be lucky enough to enjoy the clucking hens in the yard behind us!

Interaction with Guests:
We are not at the property, but we live and work close by.

Best stay ever!
The home was complete with amenities, towels, sheets and pillows available. The kitchen was fully stocked and cleaning materials even available. The house was decorated and had all the furnitures available. The backyard bbq was an added bonus. Truly felt like it was home away from home!

The house was perfect. It had every thing you needed and more. Slept 6 of us comfortably Location was good Long Beach Harbor close by and plenty of restaurants and shopping with in walking distance. Looking forward to staying again next year

Very Nice Home!!!
We had a very good experience at this home. The Knotty Whale is clean, updated, comfortable and stocked with all of the amenities needed. The neighborhood is fantastic, well maintained and we felt very safe staying there. It is close to many grocery stores and all of the fun things one may want to experience in Long Beach. If our travels take us back to Long Beach we will definitely reach out to the hosts who were very gracious.

Knotty Whale was perfect for our stay!
The ocean themed home was fabulous. We all felt so comfortable and relaxed. Plenty of room for all eight of us. Teens were entertained and not bored. Peaceful and clean neighborhood, very close to grocery stores and places to eat.
