Serenity on the Water - Free Dock Access - Water Access - No Cleaning Fee

Peaceful, quiet retreat away from the condos and traffic. Beautiful views of the Santa Rosa Sound.

Bring your boat. Water and dock access (only shared with the owners). Short boat ride from Crab or Spectre Islands. Close to shopping, food, Santa Rosa Island and Destin.

Note: Water and dock access is behind our primary home, just south of the property. You can see it in the pictures. There are a couple of small gates (keep our dog in) and you are out to the water. A cart is available to bring personal items to and from the dock.

Two full bedrooms, each with a closet and on-suite bathroom. Each Bedroom has a flatscreen TV with Roku.

Kitchen with all the expected amenities.
Large upstairs deck (50'X9') with comfortable outdoor furniture that seats 6 and beautiful water view.
Downstairs patio, with seating for 6, should you want to enjoy outside relaxation in the shade.

Water access, with the ability to tie up a boat or Waverunner. Upper deck on the water, with seating for 4, with breathtaking water views.

We stayed here for a week while attending a nearby family reunion in Fort Walton Beach, arriving and departing on a Saturday. Communication with the host was excellent — friendly, prompt, and clear — and check-in was effortless.The condo itself was lovely: spotless, comfortable, and very well-stocked with everything we needed. We especially appreciated the access to the dock overlooking the bay.The location was convenient, with a Publix just a few minutes away for groceries. We had a relaxing week and particularly enjoyed unwinding on the balcony in the late afternoons.Highly recommended!

Family

Another beautiful family vacation with what we now consider our extended family. Doug and Kristin are such amazing people. There for you for whatever you need. Fishing advice, local restaurants recommendations, they are glad to help. It is such a blessing that our family gets to experience such a beautiful place for our vacation. Always a five star experience when we stay. You can't beat a cup of coffee in the morning on the balcony overlooking the intercoastal, or a sunset on the dock with a cold drink and good breeze. Thank you Doug and Kristin for sharing your beautiful home with us.

The property was amazing. Didn't expect the dock access to be like it was per the listing. However, access was so easy, and the dock was just amazing. The owner was so nice and was willing to do whatever to ensure our visit was just perfect. We will book once again in the future.

Beautiful Home

This was an amazing house to stay in, updated and clean. I did think that the VRBO listing needs to say that this house has access to the dock and bay only through the Owner's yard/fence. In looking at the pictures, it appears as though we have straight access from the rental. The owner is very very nice, and accommodating, however, we felt like we were intruding a bit.

Absolutely Amazing Stay, Location & Hospitality

Doug was absolutely amazing and very attentive to our needs and stay. Checked on us for the first few days to make sure we were settled in. The property was amazing, clean, quiet and safe. Had everything we needed and some. We honestly could have done without the tote of things we brought for our trip. The extras like, lilly pad for the water fun, beach wagon and chairs and others really made for such a great stay. Can’t say enough good things about this place and the host! Will def be coming back!

Everything was wonderful

Lovely property that was spotlessly clean. Appreciated the extra little things, including the snacks that were in the house. It was also nice that we had an enclosed garage. We had a lovely time over Thanksgiving in this property that is close to grocery stores, etc.

True Southern Hospitality

From arrival through departure our stay exceeded any and and all expectations we had of a vacation rental. The unit was immaculate and furnished with everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The attention to detail by our hosts was truly on display and the hospitality provided made us feel like family members not guests. We will definitely be returning to Sweet Magnolia.

Best Vacation Ever

The hosts were awesome. They provided us with fishing and dining out tips. The property was top-notch and so close to restaurants, shopping and water access. Their private dock provided us with a space for our boat and hours of fishing!!!! Highly recommend this property!

Quiet but interupted

My Fiance just came back from training for 3 weeks currently we are looking to move else where in the neighborhood, to try out different locations we stay in different cities. We have tried Navarre, Crestview, Niceville and now Fort Walton. The place is beautiful we like the location however the only thing is that all weekend it was rainy so we stayed inside and on Sunday while have a bit of a lazy day the owners proceeded to come inside the unit. They did ring the door bell but again we were in bed and taking naps. Only thing I didn't enjoy was being walked in on. Definitely didn't feel comfortable knowing that the owners come in as they pleased, even if it was to ask about a package. (Which wasn't mine BTW)

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

The street is very quiet with no through traffic. There are only 4 houses on the street. We have great neighbors as well.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

Beautiful views and access to Santa Rosa Sound. We have a small island between us and the channel, which limits boat traffic and wake. The island provides an easily accessible getaway.
