Villa Careta is located at the exclusive Puntacana Resort & Club in Punta Cana, the Dominican Republic. The villa is within walking distance to the beach (about 10 min).

The resort is home to 2 oceanside golf courses (Corales by Tom Fazio and La Cana by P.B. Dye), luxury hotels, The Spa, the Oscar de la Rental tennis center (tennis, paddle, and pickleball courts), an equestrian center & polo club, pristine beaches and beach clubs, nature trails and freshwater lagoons, fantastic restaurants, and more. If you want to go off property to explore the local area, the Puntacana Shopping Village and Blue Mall Puntacana are located just outside the resort.

Punta Cana Airport (PUJ) is located right next to the resort - 1 kilometer or less than 1 mile from the resort’s entrance, and Santo Domingo Airport (SDQ) is about a 3-hour drive away.

NOTE: You’ll have 2 golf touring carts included with the villa rental for transportation around the resort.

THE SPACE:

Villa Careta is a wonderful, 5-bedroom, 5 1/2 bath, 5,000 sq. ft., 2-story villa.

NOTE: The villa has been FULLY RENOVATED and refreshed with new indoor/outdoor furniture, new kitchen and appliances, and new bathrooms!

The style, decor, and furniture are very welcoming, and the villa has lots of comfortable spaces where you can relax and feel at home. The villa welcomes you with its unmistakable blue front door and entrance with a small garden.

As soon as you come in, you’ll find yourself in the open living- dining- and kitchen area. This is the heart of the villa, a very comfortable space with unique décor and artwork that liven up the place. The living room has a great sofa with chaise, TV, and ceiling fans. The dining area and kitchen are located right behind the living room and are a great place to entertain. Enjoy your meals at the dining table or dine al fresco on the terrace.

The open kitchen with a cooking island is state-of-the-art and has double fridges and double freezers, plus all the necessary amenities you need to cook your daily meals. You can also hire a private chef ($) to do all the cooking for you!

Enjoy the spacious terrace which has a “cana” palm leaf roof and ceiling fans to keep the space cool even on sunny days. The terrace has all new furniture, including a dining table (seats 10), a sofa lounge area, and another dining table (seats 4). The backyard is a completely lush and private oasis with a beautiful, kidney-shaped swimming pool, a deck with lounge chairs, and a “hideaway” wooden terrace with another dining table and a small sofa.

Indulge in a delightful lunch served on the terrace beside the pool, or unwind with a nap by the poolside, letting the gentle Caribbean breeze lull you into relaxation... If you want more privacy, retreat to the roof-top style terrace and relax on one of the sun loungers.


THE BEDROOMS:

Villa Careta has 5 bedrooms. There are 3 bedrooms upstairs and 2 bedrooms downstairs.

Bedroom 1 (upstairs): The primary suite with 1 King bed, air-conditioning, ceiling fan, TV, closet, dresser, a sofa, desk and chair, ensuite bathroom with shower, and access to the furnished roof-top terrace.

Bedroom 2 (upstairs) with private entrance, 2 Full beds, air-conditioning, ceiling fan, TV, closet, desk and chair, ensuite bathroom with shower, and access to the furnished roof-top terrace.

Bedroom 3 (upstairs) with with private entrance, 1 King bed, air-conditioning, ceiling fan, TV, closet, dresser, ensuite bathroom with shower, and and access to the furnished roof-top terrace.

Bedroom 4 (downstairs) with 1 Queen bed, air-conditioning, ceiling fan, TV, closet, and ensuite bathroom with shower.

Bedroom 5 (downstairs) with 2 Full beds, air-conditioning, ceiling fan, TV, closet, ensuite bathroom with shower, and access to the terrace and pool area.

VILLA STAFF:

Housekeeper: The Spanish-speaking housekeeper will clean the villa, make the beds, wash towels and linens (usually every 3rd day). We do not offer personal laundry service. The housekeeper may reside on the property in a separate living area.

Villa Manager: You’ll also have an English/Spanish-speaking villa manager available during your stay. This is your go-to person for any questions or if you need any services that you haven’t booked before your arrival. The villa manager will greet you when you arrive at the villa, check you in, and will be available daily throughout your entire stay.
