Strawberry Lake Resort is a luxorious get-away for all your family gatherings and other small private get togethers. We are located on Strawberry Lake, which is part of the Huron chain of lakes, and Sunset Lake, a private no motor lake.

Rent a boat from Wonderland Marina, explore the chain of lakes and dock at our retreat! Sunset lake is a great fishing lake included with a stainless steel paddle boat.

We provide a beautiful water feature, with a tropical setting to help you wind down with your family, friends, or both! Relax in the hot tub while the chef BBQ's in the kitchen area outside on the deck.

The walkout lower level is not a part of the rental agreement. It is a space that the owners reside in when the house is not rented. The owners do not stay while guests are renting.

A Hidden Gem

Our family have done Bacation House for the past 27 years with varying group sizes. We are now up to 14-18 depending on friend and work schedules. We have always gone North to at least traverse City. For the past 10 years we have stayed at a lovely home on Lake Charlevoix. Unfortunately that was not available this year we found ourselves looking a waterfront home large enough to accommodate our size. We found this beautiful home on VRBO but we hesitant because it seems to us to be in too much of a metro or suburban like area. Much to our surprise we found ourself in a quiet countrylike setting which we all throughly enjoyed.....a feeling of solitude with close proximity to the benefits of a more built up area. Good Lord willing and the Creek don't rise, we will gladly return next year. Without going into a detailed review, note of the various categories I was asked to rate, we have given nothing but 5 stars because they deserve it. You will not be disappointed.

The home was great for our big family and the hosts were more than accommodating and responsive. You can tell they care about their guests and that is hard to find!

Successful 20 person thanksgiving!

It was sooo nice to have plenty of space for evsryone to spread out - it helped the large geoyp get along! The views are unmatched and Renee was super responsive.

Amazing family getaway

Wow! This sums up our stay. The home was beautiful and super clean. It had everything we needed. The fully stocked kitchen was a nice surprise. The views from front and back were fantastic with so much to do. We had a wonderful time away and would definitely recommend.

I love the area in that we do not have many neighbors and we tried to make it as secluded as possible with the landscaping.

Our water feature, located on the Huron Chain of 9 lakes, butting up to two lakes, acreage and a large entertaining area off the kitchen.
