Nice location close to everything in town. Rental was clean and nice and owner was very good to communicate with.

This property is NOT located where its listed to be located. The pictures are from strategically placed areas in the apartment. Propery is on a busy road, listed closer to the water, it is NOT. Iam familiar with the Watkins Glen area, I rented THIS apartment for the location listed. The emailed address and list address were not the same as what the owner sent me and portrayed the listing to be. There are stairs to climb to get to the apartment, so your aware. There is a lot of furniture, some broken. The couch is covered in stains and very dirty, throw pillows do NOT cover couch stains. The apartment is very dirty. The steps could use alot of cleaning, curtain rod rod just sitting in a window with no curtain, dust and cobwebs everywhere. The treads that are missing on the stairs should be removed. The curtains in the 2, not 3 bedrooms let light in all night, lack of sleep. The chair in the bedroom near the kitchen is filthy and torn. The shower had to cleaned before we used it and we had to remove someone elses shampoos etc. Its offensive that someone would think this is an acceptable property to rent to vacationers. Positive, the carpet is new and the beds were comfy with cozy sheets. They have a coffee maker and provide local coffee grounds. Lesson learned.

Clean, Comfortable and Convenient

While the house could use a little TLC, it was perfect for what we needed. It was clean, comfortable and convenient to downtown and to the race track. There was a Walmart just a few blocks away which was great. Offstreet parking allowed us to leave our vehicles there and just walk a few short blocks to downtown for dinner or to the lakefront for cocktails. William was very friendly and responded to all of our email questions quickly. No issues. If you’re looking for someplace convenient to downtown Watkins Glen, this fits the bill.
