Super cute cottage! We had a little trouble figuring out how to use the mini split heater, but once we figured it out we were comfortable! The host is quick to respond and amenable. Nice time there. Thank you!

The house worked perfectly for our family. Very clean and decorated so cute. Everyone enjoyed the individually controlled a/c units in the bedrooms.

A Charming Woodsy Escape

We had a blast at this place. We were hit with the beautiful smells of wood when we walked through the door, and were completely charmed by the space. I texted the host with a question and her response was immediate. We all remarked that we'd love to stay here again.

A great weekend getaway!

The property was perfect for what we needed it for. Of course there's always improvement room. But overall everything was great. The online ad makes it seem that you're going to be right on the water... But you're actually a few hundred yards from the water. Some better instructions on how to run the air conditioning and heater would be great. Thank you for a great time!

Kind manager

Ms. Laray was so supportive even after I screwed up the reservation multiple ways. The cabin was beautiful we had my daughters grad party there with 5 of her friends. There was plenty of room. The only drawback is that the doors need some kind of latch in the inside of the master suite. Other than that, it was easy and effortless after Ms laray helped me get it squared away.

Great property for a lake weekend

We had 3 adults and 3 kids and everyone had their own space. It is beautifully decorated and lots of thoughtful details. It is a newer property so their weren’t towel bars or toilet paper holders but those may be added and definitely weren’t deal breakers. It is worth noting that 2 rooms and a pull out couch were upstairs and the stairs were a little tricky to maneuver so definitely not good for littles or elderly. The downstairs master was very spacious and could easily accommodate a pack n play or kids cot. The toilets are tall so a stool would be good for little kids to use independently. There is a small room downstairs with a futton that is perfect for a kid. The only downside is that there is no air flow when the door is closed. We had some trouble with the gate and door code but the owner was quick to respond and very helpful! Overall this property to awesome!!

Lonesome Dove Cottage

The cabin is very cute and decorated very tastefully as pictured in the posting. We had a really nice time and enjoyed the area. The waterfront was a little farther away than we expected. But we were able to use our vehicle to take all of our water toys down to the lakefront. It was a little confusing figuring out sleeping arrangements because one place on the site states 5 bedrooms, but then in another spot, the description says three bedrooms with two additional sleeping areas. The front outside porch was very dirty, lots of cobwebs, and had two large hornet nests. The Dollar store was nearby so we were able to get some hot shot spray and knocked the nests down. It’s also important to note that although it is stated that a barbecue grill is provided there is only a fire pit (rusted and dirty) available for outdoor cooking. There is no grill as stated on the site. We also had to purchase garbage bags and additional paper supplies. The kitchen supplies/essentials for cooking are sparse. As mentioned earlier, it is a beautiful cottage but just be prepared to bring the supplies you would need for meal prep. The hosts were easy to work with and were very gracious.
