Absolutely gorgeous two-bedroom home recently remodeled with new outdoor bar/kitchen to enjoy the weather.

Perfectly located in Uvita, and an easy 7 minute walk to Playa Chaman, which is part of Uvita Beach/Ballena National Park (entry fee required).

Private pool.

There are very few available homes in Uvita that have such quality and beautiful construction, and are so close to the beach.

Walk to restaurants, beach/National Park. Paved roads/easy access.

Guests will meet with Osa Property Management. - Costa Rica Las Villas Team Member for Guests arriving between 3 pm - 8:30 pm. Later check-in is available but without Host Check-in.

Located in Uvita, which is the epicenter to the Bahia Ballena region of Costa Rica. Uvita is home to Marino Ballena National Park, where the world-famous 'Whales Tail' beach is found.

Uvita is the launching spot for dozens of tours in the area and restaurants, banks, grocery stores, pharmacies and coffee shops.

This is a private home with unlimited 24-hour access. There is a private gate to gain entrance into the home and a private PIN to enter the home.



Casita Catalina is a private home, located behind a private gate. There are no shared amenities. The pool is private. It is a comfortable and clean and modern living space. Large deck and outdoor patio. The sliding glass doors connect the outdoor space to the indoor space, providing a seamless flow.

Clients will have complete privacy during their time. Depending on the length of time at the house, there will be pool service done twice per week. We will notify you of the days and approximate time at check-in.

Pack n'Play or Baby Travel Bed can be rented for an additional $50 USD (plus VAT) fee and must be requested at least 48 hours in advance

Located 5 minutes from the Costanera Highway (Highway 34) and is access via paved roads and no 4x4 vehicle is necessary.
Any vehicle can easily arrive to the home.


Bedroom #1: A suite with an attached and private bathroom. Air conditioning and ceiling fan ensure year-round comfort.

Bedroom #2: Queen size bed with air conditioning and ceiling fan ensure year-round comfort.

Laundry: Private washer and dryer are located in the home. Free to use. Detergent is not provided.

Private Swimming Pool: The refreshing pool and large pool deck is a great place to enjoy your morning coffee.

Wildlife: You will hear toucans, scarlet macaws and howler monkeys.

Kitchen: All the modern amenities one would expect (coffee maker, microwave, oven, stove, etc).

Love this home!

Uvita was charming small town We loved the quaintness of the town The food was delicious and we connected with a few restaurants Beach was great but there was a day fee because of it being a national park That threw us off a little $7 per person per day Casita Catalina was beautiful Amenities was as advertised Osa properties was right on with their availability Overall great trip

Awesome house

This is a great house in a great location. Beautifully appointed and had everything you would want in it. Nice set of pots and non stick pans, sharp knives, food storage containers, even a cooler to take to the beach! Little hiccup upon checking in and accessing the house initially but smooth sailing after. Great spot near everything but not on the main drag. Would stay here again.

Perfect Beach Getaway

Pictures did not do this house and property justice. Amazing home, great amenities, perfect location and just the right amount of space. We had all we needed to prepare breakfast and dinner each day, walked to the beach each evening to watch the sunset (safe area), and enjoyed a few swims in the pool. We are already planning our next visit to CR and we will book this unit again (hopefully it will be available.)

We enjoyed our time in this beautiful Casita very much. It was very clean, well equipped with attention to details that made our stay very pleasant. A perfect place to stay! We would recommend is to make it easier to find the casita since the address was not explicitly given. Also, understanding the security system and enter the building for the first time was not easy.

Great house in nice location

The house is beautiful and well decorated. It is small inside but the covered outdoor space doubles the living space. The kitchen has most things but we were surprised there was no dish soap or staples like salt and pepper. This meant we had to buy some and then leave it. Bedrooms were clean and tastefully decorated. The beds are quite hard and need toppers to make it perfect. The bathrooms were beautiful as well with great water pressure! This house has a great location in Uvita. Walking to main town and the Whales Tail National Park. Quiet area. The management company had lots of information for us and communicated very quickly. Great place to stay for exploring this area!!

Wonderful home with all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. We enjoyed the outdoor area and pool as well as the interior living space. Appreciated the air conditioning as the weather was very warm throughout our stay. Loved the proximity to the beach for morning walks and runs. The electronic guide provided us with many ideas for food and exploring.

Great house in a great location

Great house in a great location. Everything worked perfectly. We were a half mile from the beach. Nice local restaurants within walking distance. Did not have the tourist feel. We love cooking at the house and the pool was a great place for the end of the day, and first thing in the morning! I would definitely stay again

Great Location for access to beach

House and property exactly as described. Worked great for us and the location. Only problem we had was lack of hot water in mornings.. We arrived late but Jeremy gave us the info required.

Great beach get away

We enjoyed the close proximity to the beach. We would surf every evening till the sun went down and sometimes picked up take out on our way home. The pool was perfect for my two kids. Scarlet macaws and fiery-billed Aracari would visit daily in the back yard. The neighbor hood was peaceful, not the party scene as in other places in town. Very family friendly. The house had most amenities but the kitchen was a bit under supplied. If you were planning on cooking a nice meal you may be frustrated with the lack of a few utensils and extremely dull knives. We utilized the restaurants close by. There were several within walking distance and several more only a 5-10 min drive away. The property manager for this unit did a decent job with communication prior to our visit. They also were very responsive to our requests. I would definitely stay here again.

A lovely send off

We loved the house from the moment we arrived. It is centrally located in Uvita. You can walk to the beach and many eating establishments. We loved Carlitos. Awesome margaritas! Strong and delicious! Also the Le French Café. Lovely breakfasts and lunches. And I believe soon they will be opened for dinner! Check out Gusto up the mountain for sunset and great Italian food. The couple moved from near Tuscany. Home made pastas. Now back to the accommodations. We absolutely loved the pool. It was just cool enough to cool off and warm enough to walk right in. My favourite spot to hangout. We weren’t there for vacation, my husband was working every day. It has a great outdoor space for him to work and excellent wifi Things they need to do better. The kitchen needs a few more utensils, but in all fairness this was a brand new Airbnb and it is still getting established. We felt safe and enjoyed the privacy of this house. When you book here you will love your stay. We did!!!
