Stroll to favorites like Ollie’s Pizzeria, the High Falls waterfalls, or take a quick drive to Rosendale’s charming Main Street.

The home is designed for comfort, connection, and relaxation. Gather in the open-concept living area and enjoy amenities such as a wood-burning fireplace, outdoor firepit, and a private hot tub tucked into the peaceful surroundings. A dishwasher, washer and dryer are also included for your convenience.

Unwind indoors or out—with the soothing sounds of a nearby stream enhancing your sense of peace and privacy.

*Please note you will be responsible for taking your trash when you leave. Additionally, while we do have regular pest maintenance, we are located in the woods. There may, at times be a bug or two although we try super hard to mitigate that. Unfortunately, that is part of the charm of a country cabin.

Had a great fall weekend staying at the cabin. Cute place and the location was perfect for our activities in the nearby towns like Kingston and Accord.

Excellent stay at Mossy Moody Cabin for two couples! Very clean and very quiet. Convenient to town and nearby towns. Two deer came by to check on us before we left! Communication with host was very good.
Bikes were safe outside.
Nice rail trail from Rosendale.
Culinary Institute nearby in Hyde Park.

Perfectly peaceful

I loved this cabin. Perfect size. Beautifully spacious inside and comfortable. Clean and also an easy check-in and check-out process. Highly recommend for either a short term or long term stay.

Ideal Destination for Girlfriend Getaway

Thoroughly enjoyed the mossy moody cabin - stylishly decorated and comfy - secluded in the woods- but close to wonderful restaurants and shopping, hikes. Our host was responsive and provided excellent recommendations to explore the region.

Great long weekend escape

We loved the cabin, especially the fireplace and hot tub! We were so comfortable there and would definitely recommend it. Mackenzie was also very helpful with any questions we had!

very peaceful get-away in a cozy, well-appointed cabin

My partner and I stayed three nights at this lovely cabin. It has a very cute black and white aesthetic that is nicer than most short-term rentals, including nicely curated furnishings, art, etc. The bed was very comfortable. We mostly cooked and the kitchen was prepared with all the essentials. We loved the hot tub, though it was quite icy on the short path from the house to the hot tub (same with the path from the driveway to the front of the house). The host was responsive to our queries and otherwise unintrusive. Highly recommend for a short get-away.

So pleasent!

We really enjoyed getting away from home to just relax. The hot tub was our favorite! The cabin was so clean and simple! Took the recommendations to go to Ollie’s and we are still talking about that amazing pizza we had. Also ventured out to Lake Minnawaska and did the walking trail around the lake at the too. And also went to New Paltz Water street and Clemson Brewery! A perfect little getaway!

Charming Cabin Get-a-way

Idyllic cottage in the Hudson Valley. Recently restored with a modern design aesthetic to please everyone. Perfect location to relax and visit many neighboring towns and fine restaurants. Definitely take a close look at this location!

romantic "cabin in the woods"

We needed a reset and this beautiful cozy "cabin in the woods" was perfect for a rainy romantic weekend. The cabin feels remote but is actually close to some restaurants and nearby all the hiking trails and bike trails. We enjoyed our stay sooooo much. Thank you

Great place for family or two couples

The inside of the home was nice as was the exterior deck and patio. Some of the basic necessities were missing, such as wash cloths and dishwasher pods. The driveway was also extreme muddy and a little narrow/challenging to navigate.

College touring

Had a wonderful stay at the cabin interspersed with college tours and family visits. Watched a hawk settle into the trees above our heads and while relaxing after a busy day and it was a peaceful, magical moment. The space was cozy, chic, and so close to everything!
