Beautiful property

This house was just as described. The kids had a blast on the canoes behind the house. Even though it wasn't the home owners fault the channel was full of tree branches. The kids still had a blast. We had a supper and everything we needed was available. The owner was very quick to respond to any questions we had. Will definitely stay again.

Our New Favorite Family Getaway

We've stayed at quite a few VRBO's over the years, but this is by far the best. Everything about our stay was perfect. There was plenty of room, the kitchen was well stocked, the beds were comfortable, the backyard was beautiful, and all of it was clean and organized. Our kids loved it too. We really couldn't have asked for a better place to stay! On top of that, the host was one of the most kind of respectful people we've met.

Lovely Spring Break Getaway

We decided to try and avoid the crowds of Spring Break and went for a more low key destination. We bopped between a combination of Grandbury and Glen Rose to hit up Dinosaur Valley SP and Dino World. Overall we had a wonderful time at this property. The hostess was a dream. I had to reach out to her at one point about the ice maker being frozen up and another time when my 4 year old broke a wine glass. She was extremely helpful and generous. She also took it upon herself to leave out complimentary cookies and coloring pages for my kiddos. It was a very nice touch. We felt welcomed and cared for. We enjoyed the kayaks, chasing the geese, the fire pit and the game room/bunk room was a huge hit for my young boys and their older boy cousins. Just a few nit picky things in all honesty...the life jackets that are hung in the bunk room stink. Like really stink. Made that entire room smell like moth balls. There also weren't very many outlets for charging phones, tablets, etc. Another item we found the property lacked was bedside table lamps. It would have been nice to been able to relax and read in bed at night but there were no lamps. We also encountered some sticky residue on the drawer under the oven and some dead insects in the kitchen. Again, all super nitpicky items that didn't have an effect on our overall stay. We would definitely return and you should too. Great place for every member of the family. Thank you to our hostess!
