Avon Lake- The Lake House

Tranquil Avon Lake, Ohio ranch located two blocks from Lake Erie in the central basin for walleye fishing enthusiasts.

This house offers three bedrooms, one full bath, updated kitchen, a full finished basement, wifi and cable TV, outdoor patio with furniture and grill, and a full parking space for boats. Situated on a quiet street, you can grill out on the large patio.

The location is an excellent location for families, fishermen, or those looking to head east to Cleveland for a Guardians, Cavs, and Browns games, the Rock-n-Roll Hall of Fame, art and history museums or the Cleveland Clinic for world class health care. For those venturing west, there is Cedar Point amusement park (45 minutes away), the lake Erie Islands including Put-n-Bay, Kelley's Island, Middle Bass Island (50-60 minutes to ferry), and Vermilion Lagoons (20 minutes away) are a must to check out. Don't forget to visit the lake shore for a magnificent Lake Erie sunset at some of our local beaches and piers.

The Lake House is conveniently located to various shopping opportunities! Shop the day away at Crocker Park (15 minutes away) to visit an amazing outdoor, upscale mall or Avon Commons (12 minutes away) to make a Target run.

Fishermen will enjoy the close proximity to Miller Road Boat Launch (0.5 miles away) which offers a fish cleaning station as well as Erie Outfitters (1.5 miles away) for bait and other fishing needs.

The house was clean and close to my family who lives in Avon and Westlake. We all had our own rooms and space to enjoy coffee in the morning before leaving for the day.

Great family home

We enjoyed our stay at this property. The owners were very responsive to some issues at the home and were quick to address them. The house was centrally located. We enjoyed a nice walk to Millers Park to let the kids run and enjoy the view of the lake. We will definitely stay here again next time we are in Ohio.

Cute lake cottage

Great location a short walk to the lake. Also great walking to nearby shops and restaurants. Cottage was clean and had small amounts of everything you needed and kitchen utensils were well stocked. Beds were fairly comfortable and there was good heating. The host was attentive and responsive.We had a very enjoyable stay.

Quiet Place in Avon Lake Ohio

My wife and I were in the Cleveland area for a high school reunion and to visit family in the area. This house is in a quiet neighborhood, close to parks, restaurants and all the other amenities that we needed for our stay. It's clean, comfortable and quiet. I highly recommend it to those of you visiting NE Ohio.

Perfect once again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our second stay in Avon, and the host was SO helpful when the keys were accidentally locked in the house on our way to oldest daughter’s college graduation. We would not hesitate to stay here again when we are in the area.

Quiet quaint and convenient

Clean quiet home on a side street close to all amenities . Large driveway made it nice to back boat trailer into that kept it hidden with room for another truck. Homeowners were great with communication and was eager to see us enjoy our stay and provided information with local restaurants and boat ramps. Always in the area, will definitely check availability here before i begin my next search for a place to stay.

Very cute House close to Lake Erie

The house was nice with comfortable beds, cozy living area and a cute, fully stocked, retro kitchen. We plan on staying at this Avon Lake house again.

Beautiful house, Retro in all the best ways!

This was a lovely house right near multiple lake Erie Beaches-very convenient to Cleveland & Oberlin, Property manager very responsive. All the good quality cooking equipment to make a very nice dinner, breakfast coffee supplied. It would be helpful to have some salt & pepper on hand, but our fault for forgetting to bring some!

Great customer service in a clean home

Clean home in safe area and larger than expected. Oddly, there was only one roll of toilet paper found in the home. Guests should also be aware that the AC consists of window units in the bedrooms and not in the kitchen or living room. It was a warmer week otherwise this may have not been an issue. Very nice owner!
