This Lakeside Retreat sleeps 4 comfortably and has been completely renovated with all the amenities to have a comfortable getaway along the shores of Lake Erie.
By going down the stone stairway, you have access to the lake itself , actual water level. Although swimming is discouraged , you might want to “cast a line “. Please no rock climbing!
You can enjoy watching fun lake activities from any of the three lake bank levels. The retreat’s lakeside bedroom opens onto the covered balcony above the covered patio. The Lorain Lighthouse is within sight, along with majestic sunsets, intriguing lake wildlife, and other marvels of Mother Nature. The Retreat’s large windows allow viewing from inside, as well. There is a gas fueled fire pit for your evening gathering as you wind down your day. Boat charters, jet skis, and kayak rentals are nearby. Summer concerts at Black River Landing just .6 mile away. Cedar Point and downtown Cleveland are only a 45 minute drive.

This was our fourth stay at this wonderful house. As always, it was spotlessly clean, furnished with everything you could possibly need, has very comfortable beds, great showers, excellent climate control--and to top it off, a spectacular view of the lake. This continues to be our favorite VRBO. The hosts couldn't be any friendlier or more accommodating. This is the perfect place for peace and quiet.

The house had everything you could want and more. The whole place is recently updated. It exceeded my expectations. Every nice having 2 full bathrooms. I’d love to stay again. The extras in the kitchen like butter and half & half were appreciated! We tried fishing but no luck. Only thing better is if we caught some fish ;)

Wonderful lakeside property. Very clean and well maintained on a quiet street. We enjoyed the outside seating areas overlooking the lake. The house was well stocked with supplies and had all the amenities we needed. Would definitely stay here if we are in the area again.

"Enjoy the little things" Beautiful Lake front getaway with very relaxing views of Lake Erie!! The house was very clean and relaxing and felt like home!! Had everything available to make your stay comfortable!!Close to downtown Cleveland and Crocker park if you want to venture out. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The home is beautiful and tastefully decorated. The Victorola and the selection of music was an added bonus. We enjoyed our morning coffee on the upper patio while watching the Neighbourhood eagle and various other sea birds. We even had a surprise visitor, the local groundhog. Everything we could possibly want to make our stay enjoyable with furnished. We loved our stay at the Lakeview retreat.
