2026 REMODEL - Honey Creek Lakefront Property is a comfortable 2 bedroom 2 full bathroom house equipped for getaways year round - Activities like swimming, laying out in the sun, fishing, boating, water sports, or relaxing around the fire pit. Located in the City of Grove, guests have access to all the amenities of town but the experience of a peaceful lakeside community. Whether sitting on the deck or gazing through the picture window, Grand Lake O’ the Cherokees offers a breathtaking view.

Guests will appreciate the coffee bar. If you love your coffee in the morning, remember to bring extra K-Cup pods in your favorite flavors!

ROOMS:

Living Room – the open layout boasts a futon couch, 2 rocking recliners, a multi-functional coffee table that holds extra throw blankets and games, and a 70" TV with access to all streaming services.

Kitchen / Dining - Full-size washer/dryer, oven w/ stove top, refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, toaster, Keurig, and full set of pots, pans, dinnerware, and silverware, Dining room table for gameplay and meals, and two countertop barstools that can be placed around the table if five to six people are staying.

Bedrooms – each room contains 2 twin xl beds that can be pushed together to create a king if preferred, side tables, smart lamps with charging stations, luggage racks, and hanging space. There is an additional chaise lounge sleeper in the back bedroom.

Bathrooms – full-size, one has a tub/shower, and the other is a standing shower only.

Private Dock - 10 x 24 covered slip and 2 PWC Ports!

2 security cameras on property, facing the street and the dock.

We came for a bass tournament and this house fit the bill! Perfect place for a bass boat under roof both at dock and driveway with lights and power to charge. Very clean and cozy!! Left rods on deck and never worried.

Great communication with the host. Description of the property was accurate. Very easy check in and check out. The private boat slip was fantastic. The boat ramp is literally just around the corner. Ample parking for our pickup and boat trailer. Summers are hot, and the house stayed very cool. The house was clean and comfortable. Great view of the lake sitting in the living room and dining area. Recently installed new sidewalk path down to the boat slip was nice. Be prepared to take it slow, however, because it is somewhat steep. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! I recommend staying at this property. We hope to be back again.

Needed a location on the lake for 4 buddies to fish for the weekend and this property fit the bill perfectly! Will definitely book here again in the future.

Lake Fun

The property was recently remodeled and was in great condition. Beautiful deck and dock were fun to watch the lake activities. All appliances were new and very nice carpet/tile. Would definitely stay again.

Great getaway spot

The property did not disappoint. Great lakeside views. Very clean and well kept. Right on the lake and close to town for grocery and restaurant access. Grove is a nice little town. We would stay here again.

Lake house with dock

This home is in the perfect location at Grand! The dock is an added bonus, especially if you have a boat to park. The house was clean and great for a getaway. Loved the snacks and coffee bar area. We will be staying here again.

Mid week get away

The property is nice, the sidewalk to the dock is not so much. It is dangerous, uneven, and is a serious workout to climb backup the sidewalk. If you are disabled, older than 50, or have any mobility issues you need to stay away from the dock.

The location was great. The house was pristine. The boat dock was great! The only thing that is not great is that there is not a double bed in the house. It was exactly as advertised, so we knew that when we booked.

Great lakeside place

Very nice place with exceptional outdoor amenities. The private dock was perfect for swimming and fishing. The house met all of our needs and was stocked with everything we needed. The owners were accessible and responsive. Our family had a great time, thank you for opening your home to visitors.

Lovely property with an amazing view.

The property was easy to get to and it had a key box so was easy to access. Inside everything was immaculatly clean and finished with high end fittings. It was worth the rental fee for the view from a big picture window, or the deck or additionally from the boat deck which had chairs. We had a great stay.

Fantastic Place!

Our family stayed for a quick weekend trip. The house is clean and the location is really wonderful - located on a nice, quiet part of the lake. Practically brand new carpet, comfy beds, 2 baths (one with a tub), a gorgeous picture window and a huge TV. Awesome touches like bananas and snack bars and cold bottled water - coffee pod with LIQUID CREAMER (♄)! We really loved this little house. Thanks for having us!

much needed getaway

We booked this house because of the location to Grove , the included boat slip and the view. Its a nice little home with almost everything we needed. Just a heads up. the concrete walkway down to the dock is ridiculously steep. The path that goes under the deck is short. if you are over 5'9" you're going to hit your head. Bring dock ropes to tie your boat to the poles, there are no cleats. We had a nice vacation.

Great stay!

This is such a great location! So close to town! We came to town with our 3 kids to celebrate a birthday. The house is in such a great location! The inside is newly updated, too! There is a great view of the lake from the living room. Our kids enjoyed watching the foxes and deer come down to drink from the lake in the mornings and evenings. The dock is also great! We put our boat in at the neighborhood ramp and kept it in the water all weekend at the dock. The water is a little rough because you are right on the main part of the lake, but if you’re prepared for that, it’s fine. We enjoyed swimming and fishing off the dock. We caught a ton of green sunfish and a few bass right off the dock! If you’re traveling with a family here are a few things you might want to know: 1- the main bedroom doesn’t have a door, only a curtain. This didn’t really make a difference to us, it was just surprising and I thought some people might like to know. 2- the second bedroom is “vented” into the living room, so pretty much there is a hole in the wall with a vent in it that comes into the living room. This meant if we stayed up later than the kids we had to be very quiet because they could hear every word we said in the next room. Again, not a huge deal, just thought some might like to know. 3- the path down to the lake is a little steep! Our 6 year old fell on the loose rocks on the steepest part of the path and scraped his leg up pretty bad.
