Shores of Panama 704

Welcome to the Shores of Panama resort, a family-friendly retreat in Panama City Beach. Our 23-story Gulf front property features 150 beautifully appointed vacation rentals and a host of luxury amenities, including a full-service spa, lagoon style pool, two tiki bars for on-site dining and drinks, and exhilarating water sports and beachfront activities to keep you entertained. This special place is close to everything, making it easy to plan your visit!

The space:
Condo 704 is located on the 7th floor at Shores of Panama. $100 registration fee on-site. We have 3 bedrooms, 1 King 1 queen. The 3rd bedroom is a bunkbed with an extra slide out bed for an additional person if needed and a door for privacy. All rooms have full bathrooms! The sofa in the living room also transforms into a comfy bed!

*This condo is self check-in but you will need to stop by concierge to pay for and pick up your registration packet. This includes 8 bracelets and 2 parking passes.
The armbands give you access to the fitness center, heated indoor pool, hot tub, outdoor lagoon style pool, and the beautiful white sandy beach on the Emerald Coast off the Gulf of Mexico.

Condo was run down and unclean. Dishwasher, all hair dryers were non functional. Active mold grew in base of blender. Damage to one bedroom door was reported to Host but all subsequent interactions with host were useless. Host basically ignored all texts and pictures of issues we cited. Property essentially was shut down for the winter so ice cream shop, bar and food service at pool were not running. This should have been mentioned in the property description. I am not sure we will work with VRBO in the future.

I never received access (door code) until I was standing at the door and had to message the owner to finally be able to get in, had to waste 30 minutes sitting there waiting for them to respondKitchen is very minimal and didn't even have salt and pepperFor some reason there is a humidifier sitting in the middle of the hallway and it's connected to the HVAC closet but is a horrible obstacleThe HVAC needs to allow for the fan to be set to ON and not just AUTO as its difficult to sleep when the noisey fan cycles on and off, if you could just set to ON all the time would be betterThe closets needs hangersThey need to leave some beach towells there (seems obvious)The front door is heavy and hard to open, needs adjustmentNeed more seating for kitchen eating, table etc.If they were to address these few minor problems it would make for a much better experience

Fine for price

I’m sure all the places in PCB are the same with the huge tourist crowd. But the complex is rundown, crowded with cramped parking. But the live pool music at this place was great!

Cleaner could do better

Overall nice for the price. Whoever cleans the unit must be in a hurry. No broom available to use. One of the doors is about to fall off the hinges. (Bunk room door) front door is not aligned so it won’t close unless you push/pull it. Crusty yellow stain (possibly food) on the comforter. Dog bone under the pull out couch. Paint inside the microwave is flaking off.Just needs to be taken care of better.

Ok resort dirty condo

If I could give zero stars for cleanliness I would. As soon as we walked in, there was dirty toilet paper in the bathroom floor. Immediately we could tell they only took the trash out and “maybe” changed the bed sheets. We spent the first hour that we were there cleaning. The property manager came to the room asked looked around at the piles we had swept up and then just left. Didn’t apologize offer a solution or anything. The ice maker didn’t work the entire time we were there. Only a few kitchen utensils available which had to be washed before we could use them. There was a hole punched in the back of the bedroom door, leather missing off all of the bar stools, hole in the back of the couch, and the sofa bed and not fit to sleep on. The resort wasn’t bad. We could definitely tell on Thursday that the weekend crown had checked in. The parking garage is tight but I drove an expedition and had no issues. Just watch out making the corners. The pool was nice, the poolside grill had good food, the poolside bar drinks were disgusting. Beach access was easy and location was great. We will not be back to stay here but maybe a different condo would be an ok option.

EXTREMELY DIRTY

We checked in and once we got to the condo realized that it was extremely dirty. As the day went on we found more and more filth. One of the beds had dirty sheets, my granddaughter found a pack of cigarettes under a chair in the balcony, etc. I txt the owner to let them know and the apologized and after several txts agreed to refund the cleaning fee. On the morning of check out as we were stripping beds I found dried BLOOD on the mattress cover of the bed I had been sleeping in!!!! I immediately sent a picture to the owner and expressed my dissatisfaction with this and all of the other things. He said then he would up my refund to $200, which didn’t seem like enough to me at that point but whatever. It has now been over 2 weeks since our stay and I have yet to receive and refund and responses to txts have stopped!!! I would not recommend this condo to anyone! Hopefully he finds a better cleaning crew moving forward!!
