We had an amazing girls trip staying at this home as well! The views were beautiful and it was the perfect complement to the other house we rented up the street with the same host. The space was comfortable, clean, and ideal for our group to spread out while still being close together. Everything was well cared for, and we’d absolutely stay here again.

The only small thing Id say is that the place is not actually on the lake like I thought. The road needs some grading at the bottom of the hill. Rest is great

Grand view

Our stay at The Lodge of Ski Shores was fantastic, we couldn't have asked for anything more. The views are spectacular, location is great. You have easy access to the National Park and close to town. The Lodge itself is very nice, has everything that you would need for the stay, very clean. Sunsets are beautiful and an abundance of wildlife to see at that time, mule deer, chipmunks, and magpies are just a few to see. Highly recommend everyone to stay here, yes we will be back.

We loved it, kids were able to watch a doe and fawn in yard. Beautiful inside and fun place to stay. Electric dart game, hot tub, bar, dinosaur secret room and record player were great additions. The decks with world class lake and mountain views and firepit were awesome. Kitchen had everything. So close to town and the National Park. Comfortable beds and linens. We will hold good memories of ‘Ski Shores’. Host was friendly and helpful.

Breathtaking views from the patio & balcony

The house was very clean, and layed out nicely. The cabinets and drawers were labeled where things were and where we should put them back. Having a bathroom or half bath on each level was great to have. The house was only a mile or so from down town and it was so pretty.

Lodge in Grand Lake

Loved this place for so many reasons, most of all the breathtaking views from every single big window and the decks. It was clean, new and stylish yet comfy. Three floors so you could be together and alone when you wanted to be. Kids loved the Dinosaur room and the adults loved the well equipped bar and kitchen with gas range. My son said “Do we have to leave??” The wildlife sitings added to the excitement and I know he will always remember this vacation, as will we and my folks. The house was so convenient to town, the National Park and the two lakes. Thank you, we hope to come back Spring Break to experience the nature and the peaceful views.

Perfect mountain escape!

Loved this property! The house is beautiful, and you cannot beat the view! Probably our favorite part of every day was opening the blinds to see the sun rising over the lake -- absolutely gorgeous. We spent lots of time on the deck on the main level, and so did our kids. The home has everything you need to be comfortable/cook/etc., and was perfect for our family of five. The pictures are completely accurate -- you can tell that a lot of thought and love went into the design of the home and the attention to detail in furnishing it. The house is less than 5 minutes into town, and only about 5 to the entrance of the park. (If you're traveling with smaller kids who aren't able to hang all day, this is ideal :) There are a few great hikes for littles right inside the park, and because it's so close we were able to go back into the park after nap time each day, too. The house is close-ish to the road, but it is up on a hill, so you still feel secluded and have plenty of privacy. We hope to make it an annual visit -- thanks so much for sharing your property with us for the week!
