About this space
Our home is a safe space for folks from all minority and marginalized groups. We welcome guests of all races, faiths, genders, and sexual orientations

After a day exploring Rochester or the Finger Lakes, come back to your private music-themed retreat! Relax in your large 600 sf guest suite, enjoy a cup of coffee on the patio and sleep easy on an adjustable queen size bed.

On a business trip? Office set-up is part of your space.

The space
We're in a super safe ,quiet and respectful neighborhood consisting of 13 custom homes.
Our home is on 1.8 well-groomed acres.Access is super easy to your portion of the home.

Please note that although we can't offer a full kitchen or kitchenette, we do provide a "mini-kitchenette" with a mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker in your room.
You'll love the walk out feature once you're in your room to the both patios which join each other.
If you're planning on watching TV, be sure to bring your login info for your favorite apps(Amazon Prime,Netflix etc.). An in-room mini-antenna is provided for local major stations as well as a variety of antenna stations.

If you like, we can provide a DVD player as well.
We do not subscribe to conventional cable TV.

Always best to text us or call if there's anything you need. One of us is home most of the time and always at night.

Great place to stay

Can’t say enough about this accommodation. Owner provided great hospitality. It was clean, quiet and felt very safe. I definitely recommend this to anyone looking to get away.

Danny Lomenzo was fantastic. Greeted us when we arrived and even helped carry in luggage. The room was chilly so he brought in a small heater. There is a stairway to go down to the room or you can walk on the grass around the house. Very quiet and relaxing place to stay.

Cheryl and Charles were fabulous guests! Totally enjoyed our fellowship with them and how cool they actually came out to see the band! They left the suite in remarkable condition and welcome them back anytime with open arms! Happy tp report that the AC has been repaired and now provides whatever is called for and not too much which was the issue during their stay.

Nice basement apartment in beautiful western NY

Very comfortable basement apartment with full bath, queen bed, mini fridge, microwave, coffee machine, couch, etc. We had our own separate entrance and daylight windows with lots of light. The bed was comfortable and we had great communication with the owner. Conveniently located in Victor, which worked well for us in town for a Victor/Mendon wedding.

not what was planned, but...!

Dan had contacted me early in the week that I was supposed to travel asking if he could change my accommodations, as he had a guest wishing to stay over. He put me in a guest room on the first floor with a private half bath and access to an upstairs for bath and the main kitchen. Everything worked out well for my stay, and Daniel couldn't have been more friendly or accommodating. The house sits on a large, quiet beautiful lot. I had a great stay.

Red Fox Run

Owners were responsive and gracious, even to the point of making us breakfast and visiting with us on the day of our departure. A note to those sensitive to odors or those with allergies: the suite is in a walk-out basement and there is a strong odor of mold, most probably due to the carpet having absorbed a lot of the moisture that accumulated. Owner was understanding when I brought it up to him and he said he'd be adding a dehumidifier. Apart from that, our stay was enjoyable and made for our return to my hometown an easy one. Thanks Danny and Joo!

I'm sorry to say but we truly feel this review is greatly exaggerated re: the moisture / mold! First, this is the first complaint we've had re: this matter with over 15 bookings since May with not one guest complaining! Mold is absolutely non-existent! The carpet is perfectly dry as well! With that being said, we've installed 2 barely audible dehumidifiers : one for the sleeping area and one in the remaining part of the suite to insure they're ZERO issues re: moisture of any kind. Fact: the main suite is actually at split level with plenty of windows and walk out as can be seen in the pics. You are not sleeping in a basement! PLEASE; do not let this unfair review taint your consideration of joining us at The Red Fox Hideaway! Check out our reviews at other vacation sites to verify our position!
