The property was perfect for our family. Everyone had their own space and the house was warm and welcoming. The fire pit was amazing. We highly recommend this property.

We had a wonderful stay at Mom’s Heide-Way. So nice to be super close to family in the area. Love the adorable house and it’s comfy & cozy atmosphere!

The house is well furnished and stocked. Kitchen is fully functional with supplies, dishes, utensils, etc. Great ice maker. Step in shower is really nice. We appreciated all of the towels, for both inside and the pool. The sun room was a cozy spot to enjoy coffee in the morning. My only suggestion would be to add an umbrella by the pool, though we did appreciate the one on the deck. Overall, we greatly enjoyed the respite. Would both recommend and book again. Thank you!

Another great week in Shanks, WV!

This is our second time staying at the property. It is home away from home. Gives everything for the entire family. Highly recommend this property to anyone staying near Romney, WV.

Great home! Our family enjoyed the property and Romney/Shanks area. Everything we needed to prepare Thanksgiving dinner and explore Hamphire County West Virginia.

Cosy escape

Mom's Heide-Way is a lovely, clean place. We had a fantastic time visiting with friends and family and had a lot of space where we could just relax! We were glad that it was close to where our friends live, and also just a few minutes away from Romney! We would definitely stay again when we come up to visit!

Great place in WV!

Great place to stay near Romney WV. House was clean, host was welcoming! Easy in and out procedures. We really enjoyed our stay here. We walked the property and watched old movies on the VHS player. Beautiful area and perfect for booking a Potomac Eagle train ride in Romney!

Perfect getaway!

The property is not just adorable, but fastidiously clean and exceptionally well appointed. Absolutely 10/10 stars. Couldnt have asked for a more comfortable and homey stay. Pool is excellent!

My family & i really enjoyed our stay. Super kid friendly, and bigger in person. Lots of room to spread out & between the pool, games, mashmellow roasting & movie selection available, it was perfect for the kids. Exceptionally clean. Shower & bathroom also accommodate the elderly.

Our new favorite place

We stay at many VRBO's. This was one of the best we have ever stayed in. Gorgeous house with a beautiful view. (Spectacular Sunset). House is very spacious and fully equipped. Very clean and welcoming with plenty of linens and towels. Easy check in and great communication with host. 5 STAR all the way. Will definitely come back.

Family reunion

Me and my family from Tennessee came to west Virginia to see family and catch up with family we haven't seen in such a long time. We got to eat dinner and swim and enjoyed seeing everyone. The home was very beautiful and was very home like. The home renter was very nice and was very helpful with any questions or concerns we may had. Just the couple days we stayed there was amazing. We will be back again. We all loved it and next time we come down we will be staying longer. Thank you for such an amazing place you had that we stayed in.

Weekend getaway

Our stay at this amazing property was the absolute best.... Our kids finally had family dinners and breakfast... We all talked and spent so much time together... We all became so much closer... The property was amazing.. I hope to own something just like it in the future!! The home was not to much to clean but big enough for family of 5. I just felt so at home from the second I walked in..
