Field of Boaz - A Contemporary Country Home. Perfect for the whole family!

Welcome to our cozy retreat! Just as Ruth gleaned in Boaz’s field, may you find abundance, kindness, and a sense of belonging during your stay. May this space be a refuge where strangers become friends, and where loyalty and compassion flourish like the golden barley in the sun-kissed fields!

This 4596 sq. ft. home (additional 2700' in basement) has room and amenities for all! There are 5 bedrooms/3 full Baths with additional sleeping couches on the main floor and inflatable air mattresses available. Start your day with coffee on the back porch, spend the day swimming or sitting in the cool of the gazebo pool-side, reading a book. There is a pool-side bar with tv setup and water slide. The wrap-around porch features 5 different seating areas looking out on 5 acres of beautiful property. The kitchen has a Viking gas stove, 48" refrigerator, dishwasher, air-fryer, microwave and wine cooler. The kitchen is fully equipped with cooking pans/cooking tools/dishes, etc - perfect for the cook in your group! Play a game of pool or air-hockey or exercise in the exercise room. Enjoy the gardens and sunset with a glass of wine on the deck side. In the evenings, gather around the beautiful fire pit.

Floats for the pool, games for the lawn, inside games and toys, make this a perfect place for families as well as folks looking to just get-away and relax in the country.

Just down the road is the quaint little village of Montgomery which offers antiquing, farmers market, restaurants, etc.. Angry Orchards is located here in Walden and offers beer tastings. The Orange County Arboretum is nearby as is a rail-trail for walking/biking. LegoLand is in nearby Goshen and West Point is less than an hour away. Go apple picking or wine tasting at local orchards and vineyards.

The Perfect Family Vacation

This was my family's second stay at this property, and it was just as amazing! There is plenty of activities for the young kids and the pool can't be beat. The hosts are communicative and quick to reply to any questions you might have. Looking forward to many more family vacations here!

This property was amazing for our family getaway! The pool/outdoor area was perfect, the space was clean and it had everything we needed. Perfect Family Retreat

Greatest time

We rented this house for an annual trip, 7 girls in our fifties. This house had everything, we so enjoyed our time here. Floating in the pool , watching the deer frolic every night. The house has everything you need and more. Highly recommend. We loved it!

Spectacular stay

My family wanted a last minute mini-reunion, and we luckily found this property. First off, it’s better than the pictures in the listing. It’s immaculately clean and very well appointed from TVs to games for kids of all ages (and adults). Even the pool has more than we could use. The hosts were extremely responsive - all around a great stay. We’re looking forward to returning next year.

Family Getaway

My husband and I wanted to take a getaway and bring the whole family- toddlers, grandparents, the whole crew! This house was the perfect place to host our trip. It was clean and spacious and the pool and outdoor area were such great fun. There were even toys and puzzle for the kids to play with and board games and jigsaws for the adults. Christine was lovely and quick to respond to any communication. Would def recommend and am planning on booking again!

Great Getaway with Friends

We spent an extended weekend here with close friends. The house is amazing. Very clean, huge, multiple places for hanging out. The pool and backyard is like an oasis. We came here with friends. The kids ranged from 4-9 and everyone had a blast. The kitchen is a dream to cook in. The owners are easy to get a hold of and were just a pleasure to work with. I will absolutely be staying here again.

Amazing Home Away From Home

We booked this home as a convenient location from NYC. The home surpassed our expectations and I had the best experience renting from the host, Christine. She was easy to converse with via email and would answer within thirty minutes or less as we went through the booking process and during our stay. Each and every need was considered by the host and we were able to truly relax and just enjoy our stay. Every detail to the home makes you feel welcomed and does not lack any item/need for your stay. We will be looking to book again in the future!

The house that has it all!!

The Field of Boaz rental truly has it all! The pool, the cabana, fire pit, wrap-around porch, yard games, eat-in kitchen large enough for big groups, three bathrooms, plenty of sleeping arrangements and of course the basement full of game rooms! This house is the best getaway for a large group of people that want to relax and enjoy themselves. You won't want to leave! They've thought of it all, and provide it for you. The place is huge, and clean. Thanks for the treats at check-in!

Perfect family getaway

Christine was a great host, easy to communicate with and always quick to respond. The property was beautiful, the backyard is a vacation in itself- no need to leave the house. We had a bonfire and roasted marshmallows for s’mores that Christine supplied for us- such a nice touch, along with beautiful flowers from her garden on the island and bubbles for my kids. Everything we needed was there, the kitchen is nicely equipped and she even left wine for my husband and I. We will definitely visit this property again! My four year old is already asking when we can go back. Thank you for a great stay!

My best friend's family of 4 and my family of 4 had the best week @ Boaz Mills. We were traveling with 4 adults and 4 teens. This was perfect for us!! We had plenty of space for indoor and outdoor activities. There were games throughout the house for family nights. The kitchen was great, the table seated all of us comfortably. We had friends come over one night for dinner and still had plenty of space for everyone to move around comfortably. The entire house was as described & we would certainly book again if in the area.

Great home for family

We were looking for a place that our family could getaway and enjoy being together. This was a perfect home for that. It was very clean, comfortable and well equipped. Communication with the host could not have been any easier. I never had reason to ask any questions because everything was so well explained ahead of time. The home was spacious and yet comfortable. The pool and fire pit were great! We loved seeing deer every day. All in all an excellent experience!!

Amazing property!

This house was absolutely amazing! The house itself was wonderful and was fully loaded with toys for all ages from blocks for the little ones to air hockey and a pool table for the older guests. The property was fantastic! The pool and patio area were gorgeous and the kids had a great time sliding, swimming, and just floating around. The yard was incredible too! As soon as we got there, the kids started running around in the grass and rolling down the hills. We had a great time making smores out at the fire pit and just hanging out of the porch listening to the rain. This was a wonderful house for a family get away and I would absolutely recommend this location!

We had the most amazing stay at the Field of Boaz! We were there for our wedding weekend and were thrilled by the large space and amenities that made it perfect for a large family with kids to spend quality time together! The kids had a great time with all of the toys and games at their disposal and the kitchen and dining room were so spacious that it allowed us all to be together yet break up into smaller groups when we wanted. The outdoor space is phenomenal and we only wish it was warmer / summer so we could have taken advantage of the awesome outdoor entertainment. Kids were able to play outside and take advantage of a huge yard and space to explore. Everything was super clean, comfortable and inviting and PERFECT for pre-wedding pictures! We couldn't have felt more fortunate for having picked this house for our most special weekend! Amazing gracious, communicative and thoughtful hosts that provided all the fixings for stores for the kids and a special congrats for the newlyweds! Couldn't recommend this home more...if you're in the area and looking for a large home that has it ALL - stay here! Thank you Christine and Lee!!!

Good, not great

The property was gorgeous. kid friendly house. However, a few things were broken in the kitchen that we were expecting to work. The griddle on stove, the Sunfire oven, the water and ice maker in refrigerator. The outside grill burners were broken, and the flame was inconsistent. We used the grill for one lunch, and while grilling dinner for our entire group, the propane ran out. I called the owner and was told to go to the local grocery store to exchange the tank. The response from the owners took 2 days and was unprofessional.
