Gorgeous spacious house with so many cool amenities and fun things to do nearby in town. Check in and communication was easy. Some things to note - the water smelled/tasted a bit off at times so did recommend buying bottled water. It also got very cold at night and heat took awhile to kick in (it was toasty by the morning after) so just turn it on ahead of going to bed. Would definitely book again.

There is a reverse osmosis water purifier at the kitchen sink for use as drinking water. If you use that little faucet, you will find perfectly clean, tasty water for drinking. The other faucets in the house also go though a state of the art purification system. The house actually warms up very quickly and stays warm with minimal heat. The temperature in the house will quickly be much higher than what has been set on the thermostat, so raise it in increments so as not to overheat the place.

Technology and amenities were nicely considered, all needs were met with linens and activities, ample space for two families of four to have time together and privacy when needed. Lots to do at the property!

very clean and comfortable house, heated floor in bathrooms (!).8 of us were comfortable in 3 bedrooms upstairs and 1 bedroom downstairs.Kitchen is equipped with everything, bathrooms had plenty towels and toilet paper.It is about 10 minutes drive to downtown New Paltz. Probably in summer would be even better

Beautiful cottage

Wonderful stay. The gardens are beautiful, and we had lovely evenings in the hot tub. Great host, welcoming and responsive. Would definitely stay again.

Nice house great location

Nice house on a very secluded and quiet road. The location was great and close to so many great places - Tuthilltown distillery, Wildflower Farm, downtown New Paltz. We had a great weekend.

Great family retreat

We recently stayed at the cottage with our adult children and young grandchildren. What a perfect spot/ plenty to explore and lots of spaces where we could be together. It is located on a beautiful property with well tended gardens; the deck areas allowed lots of room to relax and be together. The host is super responsive and helpful

Super relaxing stay

This was a perfect house for a relaxing family week! The house has a beautiful vintage feel and is secluded enough for privacy but close to tons of restaurants, distilleries, farm shops, etc The yard is beautiful, large and has plenty of places for kids and dogs to play! The backyard features a beautiful view of the river and Seth provides plenty of canoes and kayaks for exploring. Seth was a wonderful host, super responsive and provided everything we needed for a great stay! A fantastic stay we would 100% recommend for everyone!

GREAT HOME, LOCATION AND AMENITIES

We book often thru VRBO, and we both agreed this home was at the top of our list for local getaways! The owner has thought of many extras little things to make the rental ABOVE other options. The hot tub and sauna were wonderful as was the heated bathroom flooring! Our dog loved the home too. Thank you for offering such a great home to folks like us!

Fun Family Weekend

The Stone House was a really nice place to stay for a few days! It was very clean and well maintained, which was perfect for crawling babies. All of the bedrooms were pretty spacious and the main living area was a great spot to hangout and relax. The house is in a great location too. Close to a lot of wineries, breweries and hiking. We didn’t have any issues during our stay and Seth was very responsive while booking our trip. We had a great time and are so glad we got to stay here!

VRBO Diamond! Guaranteed to exceed your expectations.

I take multiple group cycling trips each year where we stay in VRBOs. This is the best place we have stayed to date. It has premium appliances (ie sub-zero frig) and outstanding amenities (steam shower, sauna, hot tub, ...). The kitchen has everything you could need (gourmet spices like Himalayan Sea Salt). Whatever brings you to the area you can expect that this house will leave you with positive memories and become the backdrop of your vacation.
