🔴We are located on a wildlife-preserve canal in a (no-thru traffic) quiet neighborhood that is perfect for walks and bike rides. Manatees, otters, birds and our personal favorite, the TURTLE, are all visitors in our canal.

**This newly renovated home is one side of a duplex and is its own home with complete privacy. We have a tall fence that separates your deck and backyard from any neighbors. The only shared space is the kayak launch at the seawall. The kitchen, appliances, bathroom, paint, flooring, lighting, furniture and even windows are all brand new!

🟢BACKYARD OASIS!!!
We have a very large 12'x 25' completely private backyard DECK where you'll enjoy a charcoal GRILL, 2 SUN LOUNGERS, table for 6, 2 fishing poles, and FISH cleaning station. Next, step down into our newly added FIRE-PIT and BOAT SLIP, KAYAKS and SHARED CANOE.
A 6' privacy fence separates you and the neighbor. One shared space is the kayak launch located in the very middle of the backyards. Everything you need to have a great time is all on this property!

🔵ATTENTION KAYAKERS - the kayak launch and ladder are located in the backyard at the seawall. During winter months or low tide you may be required to step down a ladder onto an uneven landing before getting into the kayak. In summer months and higher tides you can launch right from the ramp. We recommend water shoes and life jackets are provided.

🔵ATTENTION BOATERS The canal can be shallow in the winter and at low tide so flat bottom/pontoon boats are best. You will need to watch the tides coming in and out. The Plantation Adventure Center is the closest ramp to drop in and trailer parking is available on the vacant lot next door if needed. The boat slip is 15' long and we feel a boat can stick out of the slip another 12' without being obstructive to the canal.

Each bedroom has a wall mounted tv and closet space that includes hangers, shelf, hamper, luggage rack and dresser.

🟣 FAMILY ROOM has a 55" Roku, smart TV, a sofa, futon and French doors leading out to backyard and canal.
👨‍🍳 BRAND NEW KITCHEN includes new appliances, air fryer, plenty of cookware and counter space to make a meal!
Table for 4 and stackable washer/dryer are also located in this space.

PET OWNERS! Please message host and explain the weight and breed if you want to bring a pet. Also, be sure you will adhere to the pet rules listed under "house rules". We have a $100 pet fee and an additional $50 for a second pet. (max 2) We will send a separate invoice to email. We take cleaning and sanitizing the home after a pet stay seriously so our next guests can enjoy a clean space.

Guests will have access to all parts inside this home excluding the host's storage closet. Outside, guests will have access to the deck, backyard within fenced area, seawall for fishing/sightseeing and boat slip. This home is a duplex with only one shared area and that is the kayak launch which is located in the middle of both sides. Guests will have complete privacy on their own deck.

Your host, Vicki, will be available to communicate with you throughout your entire stay using the app.

Quiet, mostly retired neighborhood. No neighbors across street in front of home or across the canal in the back. Fence separates you from neighbors on either side.

CLEANING
We hope to pride ourselves in making our home safe and clean for our guests. Our expert cleaners impose a detailed process of disinfecting and sanitizing all linens and rooms after each booking. We are a pet friendly home to dogs (no cats). After a guest with a pet has checked out, extra steps are taken by our team to ensure any pet hair/smells have been eliminated. However, we cannot provide a guarantee you will not encounter evidence of this being a pet-friendly home during your stay.

PESTS
Our home is professionally sprayed for pests on a quarterly basis and we can provide this certificate to you upon request. However, we cannot guarantee you won't see a bug or insect inside the home during your stay. This property is surrounded by vast Florida wildlife that we love, and critters can find their way inside despite aggressive pest control. We recommend that you keep doors shut when not in use. And please keep screens on windows.

RECORDING DEVICES
Motion sensor recording devices are set up in two places outside the home to ensure the safety of our guests and our home. The first camera is set up near the front door and driveway, and the second is located on the back of the house near the deck and backyard.

SAFETY
Our home has a step up going into the house and a step over and down onto the back deck. There is also a step off of the deck onto the grass.

Guests will also need to step over the tub to get into the shower. In the bathroom, we have provided a grab bar (only meant to assist, NOT TO BEAR FULL WEIGHT) and non-slip shower treads.

The backyard has a seawall with a concrete sidewalk. A drop off into the canal can range from around 6 ft in the winter/low tide to only 1 ft in the summer months. CHILDREN SHOULD BE SUPERVISED in these potentially dangerous areas at all times. Please DO NOT FEED ANY WILDLIFE as this may encourage them to be aggressive. Our canal has manatee, alligator, otter, turtles etc..
