Beautiful home with plenty of room for our large group of 17. Kitchen was extremely well stocked, gorgeous ocean views, porches are all very large as well. Our stay was perfect and hope to return.

Absolutely love this house! Stunning views, and everything is perfect. We’ve been renting this house over 15 years now, it’s our absolute favorite on IOP!

My 80th birthday

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: To celebrate my 80th birthday, we brought our whole family down to Charleston to stay at Ducrest laying right on the beach. The house was perfect for our family ranging an age from four years old to 80. The house had plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. The house was steps from the beach and we loved playing in the surf with the four and five-year-olds. The house was immaculate shape and was perfect for our celebration. Island Realty was a pleasure to deal with in making the reservation and handling our request.

House and location was great but there were some basic amenities that were severely lacking. Very stingy with adequate basic cleaning supplies, no basic cooking supplies like salt or pepper even, very stingy amount of bath towels for a 7 bedroom house (strictly 2 towels per room - we barely even had one bath towel per guest), and zero beach towels. No grill at this house either, not sure if that is a local HOA rule or something but that was odd to me as well. I know it’s hard to keep a beach house clean but there was an overall dusty/not fully wiped down vibe to all the surfaces

Family Escape

Reviewer Comments: we checking into the beach house and all was great.. there is major beach-renourishment project. They are essentially rebuilding sections of the beach that have been lost to erosion. Which was several houndred yards north of us... there was a note in the rental stating that some beach renovations may be impacting the beach. Thankfully it was all north of us for all but our last two days when it moved next door and it smelled horrible the ocean water was affected and more white caps...they were brown caps. The morning we were checking out they moved to directly between the rental house and the ocean ...the roped off the stairs from the we would not have had ocean access if we were staying longer. We lucked out, it could have been worse. The house was nice and sufficient, clean...and labeled very well for guests. beautiful decks both upper and lower. Would recommend, but really check out the city and beach conditions

The home is absolutely perfect!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house needs for nothing, the decor is beautiful, beds comfortable, view is breathtaking. I wouldn’t change a thing. Everything was clean, well marked, and easy to use. I did text the property management company a couple times and never got a response, so they could do better, but that wouldn’t keep me from renting this home again.

Island Realty was a great host. Our air conditioner stopped working and they sent someone out and fixed it in a very timely manner.

Epic Beach Stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Family gathering from several states. Island Realty logistics were smooth and trouble-free. House was *fantastic*...kudos to the owners. The porch views were as spectacular as you hope. We brought a beach tent but never set it up - no need when your porch is that close to the water. We were there soon after Hurricane Debby while Hurricane Ernesto was in the Atlantic and there was a full moon. Lower steps to beach were washed away by extreme tide surge one night... Island Realty had steps repaired in half a day. ONLY complaint (a Wild Dunes regulation) is the inability to grill food.

7 Dunecrest Ln, Isle of Palms SC

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: 7 Dunecrest Ln is a great house – well maintained and furnished (including the best kitchen knives we’ve ever seen in any rental property). And of course, a great location. Our family very much enjoyed our stay. But a few comments as to the house: 1. Hot Water – very (!) slow to get hot water flowing in showers, bathroom sinks, and kitchen sinks, even though Island Realty had service technicians check. This is something that really needs attention. 2. Towel Bars – need in bathrooms, because the hooks on rear of bathroom doors result in very slow drying. And just not enough hooks. Seems to be plenty of wall space in bathrooms to install. And a few comments as to Island Realty: 1. Thanks again for getting left behind Kindle to its owner. Much appreciated. (Thanks, Linda!) 2. Need more and better (thicker) towels – which we assume Island Realty provides, rather than the house owner. Just not what should be provided in a house with the rental fee of Duncrest 7. 7 Dunecrest Lane

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We spent 5 nights at this beautiful property. The layout of the home was very conducive to entertaining and also allowed for relaxation. The main level and upstairs decks were huge and perfect for a beachfront experience. Kitchen was well stocked and almost everything was labeled. The ice maker was a great surprise! There are 2 refrigerators and dishwashers. The garage area is very large and provided cover for vehicles. Sonos and WIFI were easy to use and service was very good. Bathrooms in all the bedrooms was very convenient for guests. We pre-ordered beach chairs/umbrellas and bikes. Minor improvements would include: Additional towels, hangers, dish detergent, and garbage bags.

Stunning Group Getaway
