The space
Conveniently pull into your reserved parking spot and step into this historic pre-1900 home "The Driftwood". Head up the stairs to the third floor and you'll find the newly remodeled space is the perfect balance of modern amenities and historic charm! A cozy eat-in kitchen is stocked with everything you need for meals inside or walk out to your private deck with ocean views.

Head into the living room where you'll find fun coastal decor, another spot to enjoy meals, and a corner workspace for remote work. Off the living room is a spacious bedroom with memory foam king sized mattress. A renovated full bathroom with a tub finishes off the unit.

All spaces have been thoughtfully and professionally designed and of course just steps away from all that quaint downtown Rockport has to offer!

Apartment in perfect position for all Rockports great locations. Restaurants , beach, shops all within a couple of minutes walk. Comms with host always easy and quick. Only 2 slight issues, promptly dealt with. Entry code didn’t work, new one supplied within minutes and worked fine. WiFi worked 1st time on one device, 2nd device ok after contacting host and given another network to connect to. Worked fine then, resolved quickly. A good stay all considered

This place was fantastic, very cute place, walkable to everywhere in downtown Rockport. There is a lot of stairs but it didn’t bother us! Bed was firm but comfortable. The only thing I would suggest is a shower caddy in the shower for guests who bring their own toiletries.

The apartment we rented for 3 nights was clean, well furnished and as described in the listing. Communication with the host was easy and she/they were very responsive. I would certainly recommend this listing for a couple/single looking for a convenient location at a good value. Note, it is on the 3rd floor so it would be a problem for anyone with mobility issues.

We had the absolute best time at this rental and cannot recommend it enough! From the moment we walked in, we were blown away by how sparkling clean and well-maintained everything was—it immediately felt like a relaxing home away from home.The location is unbeatable. It was incredibly convenient and put us exactly where we wanted to be for our trip, making it so easy to get around and explore.To top it all off, the property is just as adorable in person as it is in the pictures (if not more so!). The decor is charming, the vibe is cozy, and it’s clear the owners put a lot of thought into the space.

We had a great day. It was a great location, easy parking easy in and out. The bedroom was very cozy.. The air conditioning is excellent.It was not a well equipped kitchen. It could use an upgrade of silverware things like sandwich, bags, and aluminum foil and plastic freezer bags simple ideas like olive oil in the kitchen is always nice to have in any circumstance and a hot water pot. It’s a lot to pay per night and most of our Vrbo’s have those kind of amenities if you’re paying 220 bucks or more.

Historic home — Lovely, spacious, immaculate, within a few minutes walk of Lower Beach, Shalin Lu music center, lots of dining, scenic downtown harborside. We didn’t need our car for the length of our 3-day stay, then found on-street parking (4 for 4 hours) to extend our stay in Rockport for another afternoon.

Excellent Property in Rockport, MA!!

My husband and I stayed in the top floor of this beautiful house for 5 nights in June, 2025! It was extremely clean, well-kept and so charming. The owners were available for any questions we had and very prompt when there was a small issue in the shower that needed a fix. We would highly recommend this beautiful house! It is walkable to all the restaurants and shops in Rockport!
