Summary:
Welcome to your Spring Break family getaway in Port St. Joe! This 2BR/2.5BA coastal cottage is near the calm waters of St Joseph Bay, Windmark, St Joe, and Mexico Beaches. The beautiful beaches of Cape San Blas are just minutes away. Enjoy a bright open layout, full kitchen, two porches, plus access to 3 community pools and a hot tub—perfect for relaxing after beach days, kayaking, and family adventures on Florida’s Forgotten Coast.

The Space:
This charming cottage spans over 1220 square feet and features 2 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. The two bedrooms are situated on the second floor, each with a private bathroom and TV for your convenience. Both floors boast screened porches that offer the perfect spot to unwind after a long day at the beach. On the first floor, you'll find a cozy living area, a half bathroom with a full-size washer and dryer, and a well-equipped kitchen featuring a breakfast bar and a dining room table.

Guest Access:
Beachwalker is located in the gated community of Barefoot Cottages. The community has 3 pools, a hot tub, exercise equipment, and a BBQ area. Restaurants and shopping are nearby in Port St Joe and Mexico Beach.

The Neighborhood:
Barefoot Cottages is a gated community offering a uniquely high quality of life. Located in Port St. Joe, Florida, close to St. Joseph’s Bay, we are a short drive from Mexico Beach, Cape San Blas, Tyndall Air Force Base and Panama City.

Getting Around:
There is ample parking for guests and residents. There are several parking lots just a few steps from each cottage. There are wagons provided throughout Barefoot Cottages for carrying your supplies and luggage to your cottage.

Other Things to Note:
We provide our guests with 2 beach chairs, 1 beach umbrella, a canopy, and 4 beach towels. The chairs, umbrella, and canopy are located in the storage bin on the front porch.

Be sure to take in the sunset at Windmark Beach (Just 1/4 mile away). It's amazing!

Wonderful stay in PSJ!

Beachwalker was a wonderful place to stay and the hosts are great! The property is in great shape and was fully stocked with all we needed, including great beach supplies! Everything was clean and fresh, and the coffee bar was a big hit! We will definitely look to stay here again!

Nice, comfortable place! Really can’t beat the location. This was a great home base, centrally located making it ideal to enjoy the wide variety of adventures we found while explorers the surrounding area! I would stay here again I highly recommend this property! Top notch place!

The cleanest, quiet, charming little beach house i have had the pleasure of visiting. Beautifully decorated,centrally located,quiet atmosphere. My mother and I really enjoyed our stay and I would love to bring my husband for a return visit.

Holiday Stay

Getaway during holidays was just what husband and I needed. We found our accommodation was lacking nothing. Everything we would have used in our home was there in our cottage, and Bennie was always within reach to assist or answer any questions. Would highly recommend this rental to anyone.

This property could easily be featured in Southern Living Magazine! Beautifully decorated, quiet & beachy location. It had everything we needed for a 10 day stay. Port St. Joe was friendly & full of southern charm. Lots of parks, beaches, and nature centers nearby. Don't miss the Uptown Restaurant for oysters!

Quiet and Cozy Beachwalker Cottage

The Beachwalker is a great place to stay in the port St. Joe area. Location is convenient to beaches, restaurants and shops. The cottage is well equipped and tastefully decorated. Beds are comfortable and the entire space is clean and updated. Lots of amenities on the property. Host is very responsive and provided all the details and information needed for check in/out.

It was a last minute “I need a break” and found this gem! The cottage has every necessity, comfort and amenity you need to unwind and refresh! The location is perfect and everything is a short drive away. Thank you to the amazing host that made it happen!

Spring Getaway

We had a great time exploring the “forgotten coast” for two weeks (3/9-3/23). This is a quiet and less busy area. The cottage was perfect & well equipped with all the things for a homey feeling. Owner provided lots of extras including grill & beach accessories. Port St Joe has a cute downtown, restaurants & walking trail by welcome center. Our daughter’s family visited for a few days. The little grandkids loved the pool & beach even though it was a little cooler. We enjoyed our laid back spring vacation!

We needed a get-away and we didn’t want to leave! This cozy beach cottage is an absolute dream! From the moment you arrive, you're greeted with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The decor is charming and coastal, with comfortable furnishings that make it feel like a true home away from home.The location is perfect—just across the street from the beach, making morning walks on the shore and sunset cocktails a daily delight. The cottage is spotless, well-stocked with everything you need, and the little touches (like the coffee station and the welcome basket) make all the difference.If you're looking for a peaceful, relaxing getaway with all the comforts of home and the magic of the sea, this is it. Friends’ trip

Found the cottage to be comfortable, homey & extremely clean. The kitchen was the most well stocked I have ever experienced. Bedrooms were really cute & beds were firm & comfortable & linens high quality. I have never stayed in a place where I had to drive to a beach but it was a short drive & the beaches were beautiful especially Cape San Blas. Restaurants in area were wonderful. The community was beautiful & enjoyed the pool & felt very safe. I had several questions before arriving & the owners responded immediately & were helpful. By far this was the nicest accommodations I have rented & would not hesitate to return.

Adorable cottage but...

My husband and I stayed here for our 23rd anniversary. The cottage is adorable. Perfect size for two people or more. The fixtures and aesthetic was perfect. The neighborhood is a little quirky and kind of confusing. Trying to find the cottage. Absolutely zero privacy though. All the cottages have screened porches which makes you want to sit out there, but you're staring into your neighbors windows all around you. You can't leave the window blinds open because your neighbors windows are right there. Not sure who designed this but they really didn't think that one out. If that doesn't bother you then this cottage is perfect otherwise.
