German village is a charming and historic neighborhood in Columbus, Ohio. With its beautifully preserved 19th-century architecture, including brick and stone homes with half-timbered German-style design, and lush streets lined with mature trees and lush gardens, this neighborhood exudes picturesque charm. Immerse yourself in German culture with a visit to the numerous restaurants, shops, and pubs that dot the area. The Berger Haus is a beautifully renovated home blending modern luxury with historic charm. Located just steps from Lindey's, Beck Tavern, and Club 185, enjoy the best of German Village. Relax in the cozy living area, cook in the fully-equipped kitchen, or unwind in the private fenced backyard. The location offers easy access to Frank Fetch Park for morning strolls or picnics, while the home provides a peaceful retreat from the neighborhood’s action.

From the moment we arrived, the host was incredibly welcoming and communicated effectively. The space was precisely as described, offering a perfect blend of luxury and the charming historical ambiance of the German Village. I’m already looking forward to returning to this wonderful place. Additionally, the location is simply ideal! It’s conveniently situated right across from one of the city’s most beautiful parks, and everything we needed is within walking distance.

Great Location

Came for a night during our trip east. Wish we could have stayed longer. Place is very comfortable and parking was easy even with our truck not being able to be in front of the property. Backyard is very cute. Would definitely stay again if in Columbus.

Clean and great location

Amazing location - walking distance to restaurants and coffee shops. The park across the street is adorable and they even do a free concert the 3rd Sunday during the summer. House was clean, bed very comfy and hot water in seconds. Amazing place for anyone, especially families.

Great for our short stay

Overall the place was great! It seemed like a great neighborhood. We saw several friendly people out walking dogs and it seemed nice and quiet. There were some small issues when we got there, just logistically like where the parking spot was and an issue with the storm door, but they were resolved quickly.

Cozy is correct, clean, great location

Reminded me of a brownstone. Great location. Close to OSU campus but far enough. German village is quite special to visit. Recommend taking a food tour.Parking is directly in front of the door that you enter in.

Great Location!

If you want to be in German Village and in walking distance to downtown Columbus, this is a great find! We had a few minor challenges (i.e. construction on the unit next door), but they were resolved to our satisfaction with the property manager who was responsive.

Berger Haus in Columbus’s German Village - fantastic

Great place located in the heart of Columbus’s nationally renowned German Village neighborhood was a perfect place for our family to call home while away from home. We loved its location in walkable & picturesque German Village, right on a quaint neighborhood park. We were in town with our two boys, ages 8 & 5, and the second bdrm was perfect for them. The Primary bdrm was very nice & spacious as well. 5/5 stars and very nicely decorated as well!

We had a great stay at Berger Haus! Love being right in front of Frank Fetch Park and in what I believe is the nicest part of German Village. Great restaurant options with institutions like Lindey's and Beck Tavern just a block away. Place was exactly as pictured, super stylish. The Aesthetic team was very professional, always tending to our needs even without us asking. We had stayed for an extended period and had fresh towels delivered to us in the middle of our stay, which we have never received from any other short-term rental host. This was our 3rd stay in an Aesthetic Property Group rental. Will definitely be staying at more when in town. Thanks so much!

Great place perfect location!

The location is amazing! Right across the alley is the beautiful Frank Fetch park, and walking distance to everything wonderful in the German village. The space was perfect for my family to stay. Plenty of space for a German village apartment, cute outdoor space, and very clean. Even though we didn’t end up bringing our dog, it’s great that it’s a pet friendly rental! Unfortunately the internet wasn’t working and it took a few times rebooting things to work eventually. Communication with the host was fast with that issue. However, I messaged the host the day before check in with no response. Then I didn’t receive check in info until after check in time, only after I sent a message asking for the information.
