Summary:
Welcome to the Bird-House on 15th! This is the main level of a two story home (lower level being off limits). You'll stay on the private main level which offers a spacious living/ dinning room combo with huge windows overlooking the back yard with a second-story view. There is a well stocked large kitchen, and restroom complete with jetted tub. Two bedrooms, one with a queen bed, the other with two full sized beds.

The Space:
Large windows overlooking cute quiet neighborhood.

Guest Access:
You'll have off street parking on a shared driveway. No garage, backyard or basement access. The main level is a complete part of the home separate from the walkout basement.

Interaction with Guests:
Please feel free to contact me at any time during your stay. I will remain on the premises and would be happy to offer any assistance with any issues you may encounter.

Excellent place to stay

We would definitely stay again. It felt like home away from home. Grace was a great hostess, and was easy to communicate with. We loved how the house was on a fairly quiet street but was close to the main town and the disc golf courses.

Very well kept and presented. Host was delightful and very accomodating. Very convenient to stores, etc. Washer/dryer unit was tiny but very handy to have. Nice neighborhood. Would certainly try to stay there again if in Emporia.

This was a great place to stay in Emporia! There were 4 of us and it was the perfect size! The location is close to everything. Honestly, the bed was more comfortable than my own! I Highly recommend!

Our family of 5 really enjoyed our stay! There were may little touches that made our stay feel right at home. If we come back to Emporia, this will be the VBRO I will want to stay at.

Quiet & Refreshing

It is a super nice property that is well maintained and very clean. The decor is beautiful and it had all the amenities I needed. There's also a nice back porch to relax on.

In town for a wedding

The host was very communicative and helpful. The space was emacilate and tastefully decorated. Coffee, milk, eggs and quite a few other snacks were provided. The beds were very comfortable and I loved the soaker tub!

House and Location Great!

Steve's house was really perfect for me and it's location to the Champion's Landing disc golf course was so convenient - and actually convenient to get downtown and around Emporia was really good. House was clean and a great size and felt very comfortable as well as the neighborhood/surrounding area. Steve also was quick to respond and helpful. Would stay again!

Wonderful for ESU families that need a home base for a few days

Comfortable, thoughtfully appointed home on a very quiet street. Just blocks away from the campus. The pictures were exactly as they looked, and the spaces felt homey and comforting. It was an incredibly hot spell in Emporia, and the air conditioning worked beautifully. When we are moving our ESU student back and forth we will look here for return stay.

Cozy, Clean, and Close to Everything!

We had a wonderful stay at this charming VRBO in Emporia! The upstairs space was perfect for our needs—clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully laid out. It’s conveniently located close to the town center, which made getting around super easy during our time at the Unbound Cycling Camp. One huge bonus was having access to a washer and dryer—especially helpful after long days on the bike!Grace, our host, went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Her hospitality was truly appreciated. Highly recommend this spot if you’re visiting Emporia, especially for any cycling-related events!

Heading Home

What a lovely home! We were heading home to Illinois from visiting family in New Mexico. We got in late and had a bit of trouble getting in. I texted for help and immediately was helped! Note as it says in the description that the lower level is occupied and you are renting the full house upper level. Everything was lovely. There was even snacks and other little touches that make this a wonderful stay. The neighborhood is great and accessible to the downtown area. Thanks for the opportunity to rent. John and Terry
