3 bedroom/2 full baths with a renovated kitchen and a fenced in backyard with deck for dinners overlooking the VT campus. Also within walking distance of Kroger and Main Street. Access the Huckleberry Trail from the backyard. The house was built in the 1940's, so it has lots of charm and the original hardwood floors.
Half 1/2 mile from the Lane Stadium
Electric Charging station for your electric cars. Huge backyard, including fenced in portion. Quiet neighborhood.

The house is wonderful, lots of space and well decorated. The location is also great, right on Huckleberry Trail which is convenient to downtown, VT and sports stadiums. Communication was easy with Catherine! We would not hesitate to stay here again if in Blacksburg!

The house was in a great location and perfectly appointed. Spacious, clean and had everything we would need. The bedding, linens, towels were all in great condition and very comfortable. The host was easy to communicate with and committed to making our stay great.

Great location for a VT football weekend! Walkable to stadium from Huckleberry Trail/Southgate. Could hear band practicing before the game - fun. Overlooks the VT Turf Grass property - very peaceful. Overall great weekend - would stay here again.

We were extremely pleased with our stay. The house was very spacious, clean, and had all the conveniences of home. We also enjoyed the location - the proximity to the Huckleberry Trail, Virginia Tech, and downtown Blacksburg. Definitely a 5-star stay.

Wonderful house and location!

We had a great stay, the house was so comfortable, clean, spacious, with many nice amenities. Fabulous location- easy access to the Huckleberry Trail, quiet neighborhood, walking distance to Kroger, Lane Stadium, campus...just perfect for our VT visit and family gathering. Great communication with Catherine, very welcoming and responsive before, during and after our stay. We would definitely return, and highly recommend to others!

Beautiful home and property in great location

We (six adults) were so happy and comfortable in this beautiful home. The finishes and art work are gorgeous and cozy. The home was well-appointed and we did not lack for anything we needed. The yard is so peaceful and backs up to the Huckleberry Trail for easy adventures. We appreciate the gracious host and her hospitality.

Beautiful Cottage with Excellent Location!

This was a beautiful home in Blacksburg, perfect for a stay for a home football game. The location couldn't be beat, as the walk to the stadium was under 10 minutes. No hassles about parking or sitting in traffic. Catherine was awesome to deal with as well! I highly recommend and will be staying here again!

Exceeded our expectations

We loved our stay. Host was wonderful to work with. House was perfect for our needs. Home is impeccable, very clean and lovely in every way. Pictures do not do it justice and the host has great taste. Host did a wonderful job updating the kitchen and bathrooms but keeping the charm of this beautiful cape. It's also in the perfect location. Quiet neighborhood, walkable to Lane (easy walk), to downtown it's a bit longer but it was great to walk home after dinner. We did Uber twice and it was fast and reasonable. Kroger is minutes away if you need to pick up anything. Also easy access to the highway when leaving Blacksburg. As owners of an STR we recognize and appreciate the quality of this home and the many small touches the host provided. We would absolutely stay again!!! We we found this home years ago.

Great place Close by to so much!

There were 6 adults staying for a wedding at VT. This property was beautiful and well maintained. I spoke to Catherine about a slightly earlier check in than 4 and she was so accomodating. The property has so much charm we really loved it. We didnt need anything while there and loved how central it was to everything we needed it to be. If we need to visit again we will certainly stay here and I highly recommend it to others looking!!

Feels like a home away from home

What a fantastic home! The property manager thought of everything - it really felt like you were staying at your own house. We were greeted each morning with a momma deer and her 2 babies in the backyard. Perfect location, right next to Huckleberry trail which leads to VT in either direction. Would definitely recommend!

Perfect spot for out of town families

We had come into town for a wedding and instead of getting adjoining rooms at a hotel we rented this house and we were so glad we did! It had everything we needed, was super clean and perfect location. Catherine was super responsive and easy to work with! Thanks again for the great hospitality!

Wonderful place close to VT

This is a lovely home and is walkable to Virginia Tech! You can walk the Huckleberry trail from right behind the house 1 mile to Lane Stadium! The beds are very comfortable, and the sheets and towels are high quality and soft. The furniture is very nice and the back deck is also lovely. Note that the third bedroom is in the walk out basement. It is large and very private, but could potentially be an issue for some since there is no bathroom on that level. I hope to stay again!
