3.5 miles to VT, brand new, built in 2024, King Bed, Tile shower, fully stocked Kitchen, large porch with privacy. Sit on the deck and watch the wildlife, deer, squirrels, turkey and enjoy the privacy and peace of the surrounding woods. 5 minute drive to downtown Blacksburg but feels like you are out in the country. Beautiful view of the mountains peaking through the trees.

Cabin was very clean and surroundings were quiet. The host stocked the kitchen well with cooking tools. This is a perfect place to stay if you are looking to unwind and relax. I really loved the windows that let the natural light in. If I am ever looking to stay in the area again, this will be the first place I look.

The pictures and description are 100% accurate! What they don’t capture is how peaceful the space is surrounded by trees. The location felt so private but was only a few minutes from downtown Blacksburg. We will definitely stay here again!!

New, beautifully appointed home which is the ideal size for solo travelers or a couple. All amenities are new and in perfect operating capacity. The host is friendly and responds to inquiries quickly. We will definitely return to this wonderful forest oasis.

The house was extremely impressive. Clean, comfortable, has everything you need and the modern finishes make this a cozy stay. The deck is awesome and the grill is easy to use. Tucked away in the woods where i could get peace and quiet, yet only 10 mins from downtown blacksburg.

Gorgeous and perfect cabin

We had an amazing stay here. Everything was very clean, modern, spacious, and private. The owner was quick to respond and provided us with everything we needed. It was the perfect weekend getaway and would stay here again!

The coolest little cabin

We loved this modern cabin. Absolutely Beautiful inside. Very chic, awesome bed, great rainfall shower, beautiful kitchen, super cool deck. Love love love. We will definitely stay here again.

Delightful cabin in the woods

We enjoyed staying in this cabin tucked away in the woods. Close drive to Virginia Tech campus yet it was secluded. The cabin was clean, the finishes were high-end and there was a fabulous deck off the back. We will definitely book again when back in Blacksburg!

Perfect hideaway

The listing was spot on. The cabin was private and very relaxing. If you wanted to cook the kitchen had everything you would need. Plenty of room and the furnishings were nice. Easy commute to VA Tech

This rental is ideally situated for a visit to Blacksburg/Va Tech. It’s only a 10 minute drive to downtown but the house is in a quiet, rural area. It’s spacious with plenty of room to spread out and relax. The Smart TV is a nice amenity. The covered deck with comfortable seating and gas grill is inviting, we enjoyed daily visits from a family of deer. We didn’t cook much, but the kitchen has everything needed for simple meals, minus a toaster. Dish detergent, hand soap, coffee filters and laundry detergent are provided. Communication with the owner was timely and pleasant. I do wish the house was equipped with more throw blankets for the living room and some extra bed linens for those who sleep cold, but this is a minor quibble. We will be back!

Beautiful cabin

Absolutely beautiful cabin for a couple or solo guest. Quiet and peaceful location with great views and wild life to watch. Very comfortable king bed, living area and two person table. Bring your favorite food, snacks and drinks to stock up the full size fridge. It’s about 3 miles to downtown and even though we had a car we chose to Uber to events in town. Uber was 12-14 each way with no issues getting picked up. The host, Ryan, is a very good communicator and let us slide our stay one day on short notice due to bad weather. We’ll definitely be staying here again. Jeff and Anna

Unexpected, Despite Reviews

This place has killer reviews, and despite those, I still didn't expect it to be as special as it is. It's clear that Ryan took great care in creating this space, and takes great care of it. He should be proud of it. I've rented a lot of places over the past 25 years, and this one's easily in the top few.

Are You Kidding Me?!!

This hideaway is absolutely perfect for a getaway! I loved the design and feel of this property
think Smokey Mountains meets modern apartment! It’s pretty much brand new so everything was perfect
bed was comfortable, shower was amazing, full of sunshine and we sat on the deck and watched a mama deer and her two babies In the morning. You’re 5 minutes from downtown Blacksburg but feel you’re ’away from it all”. Ryan was great to work with - I couldn’t recommend this property more!

The Bird House is very spacious and brand new - was very nice! Comfortable king size bed, private, beautiful views and so close to VT. The only suggestion I would offer is have a pull out couch for those who want to have their Hokie spend the night with them while they are visiting.
