We stayed 2 nights at this property and will definitely stay again if we are back in the area. It was a little chilly and windy for a fire in the fire pit but heck, it was mid November so no big deal. It was clean and exactly as described. Excellent host! Thank you so much!

The Cozy Cottage is conveniently located not far from I 81. The place is very nicely decorated and furnished with plenty of room including 2 full bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, great TV, very nice deck, firepit with beautiful views in the back yard. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely rent again when back in the area.

The kitchen was a decent size but the best part was the amazing cookware. It was a very nice quality and seemed new. Every utensil and gadget that we needed was provided. The fenced in yard was amazing for our dog. The interior was clean, spacious (for 4 adults and a dog), and updated. The neighborhood was quiet. Exactly as shown on the listing.

We stayed for two nights and traveled back and forth to Va Tech. The drive was quick and easy since the cottage is close to the interstate ramp. The view is nice, very spacious and sleeps six comfortably. The fenced in yard is great for dogs and the fire pit wood and starters were available.

This cottage was perfectly positioned to enjoy breathtaking views of the blue ridge mountains and was a wonderfully comfortable way to spend time with our friends and our dog.

Beautiful cozy 2BR home! We enjoyed our time here. It’s 9 mins away from VA Tech, on 93 acres! The rolling hills, scenery, it truly is beautiful and peaceful. Perfect for a small family, my dog Coconut loved the fenced in yard and property as much as we did.

A Little Bit of Heaven

The accommodations were nice and clean. We enjoyed the privacy. It was so nice and quiet and the mountain view was gorgeous. We even had a double rainbow the first night we were there! Loved it.

Cozy and comfortable spot

The cottage was clean and well-stocked, with spacious bedrooms and a kitchen perfect for cooking family meals. We ate dinner on the deck and roasted marshmallows on the fire pit while our dogs enjoyed watching the deer from the fenced-in yard. Enjoyed our visit and will be back.

VT Birthday trip

Great weekend with our grandsons who are at VT! Chose cottage for location and fenced back yard (a real perk)! The cottage was super clean, wonderfully decorated, well stocked kitchen, bed was comfortable, overall great place for us to gather as a family for a birthday celebration/family time. Relaxation retreat

This was a lovely and quiet stay just minutes from Christiansburg and Virginia Tech. The home was very clean and nicely decorated. The kitchen was very well stocked, and the views were spectacular. The fenced in yard was perfect for our dog. Very nice!

Peace and Quiet with a Mountain View

The property was very clean and organized, tastefully styled and decorated, and extremely well equipped. Beds and furniture were comfortable. Everything functioned properly (TV, kitchen appliances, plumbing, etc.) We personally would have preferred a King bed (instead of a Queen) in the Master Suite but the pull-out sofa in the living area was very comfy and great to have. Beautiful views of rolling pastures and mountains. We had a wonderful stay and would book it again. The owner was very friendly and responsive.

Nice house and Beautiful views

We visited family over Christmas that lived in blacksburg and Christiansburg. Very easy commute to both. The house was very nice and private the view out the back door was amazing. Lots of deer visited every evening. Will definitely stay again.

Cute Getaway!

The property was just as described and perfect for two couples with a bedroom and bathroom on opposite sides of the house to create a little privacy. It was also great for hosting another couple for dinner, with the large dining table, functional kitchen, and well laid out living room, great for socializing. The fireplace in one of the bedrooms was perfect for the cold sleeper in our group. The fenced in backyard was great for our dog. We enjoyed the rural setting but we were still less than 15 minutes away from the family we were visiting and many restaurants!

Great experience!

This was an amazing experience, I only came down for work but was able to bring my dog as there was a fenced in back yard, everything was clean and organized, and was even able to check in early. Communication from the owner was great! The complimentary bottle of wine was a great touch as well! I will be looking for this property again if I have to come back down.

Wow! What a Wonderful Property

This was our first VRBO Rental. I wish we had found this place sooner. The location is very convenient to I81 and only about 15 minutes to Virginia Tech. In the past we have stayed in hotels, but we needed to bring our two dogs this trip along with my in-laws. This was a much better choice than two hotel rooms and a dog kennel stay. First, the property is just amazing. The view out the back is picturesque . The deck and the fenced-in back yard made it a great place to hang out in with the dogs. We especially enjoyed watching the deer in the mornings and evenings. The actual house was very clean and was just the right size for four of us. When we left the property we kept our dogs in kennels in the bedroom. Because of where the house was located in the country, we didn't have to worry about the dogs disturbing the neighbors (not possible in a hotel room). The host was very responsive to chats in the app and made us feel welcome. I highly recommend this property. We will definitely be renting this property on our next visit to Virginia Tech.

Amazing

I was looking for a place for my VT new Cadet to relax and decompress after his first week of training. This home is the perfect place. It is very clean, welcoming and quiet. The view in the back is breathtaking. We were even able to surprise my son by bringing his dog. The backyard is great. We used the fire pit at night. A much needed evening to relax. The owner is amazing and accommodated is with any requests we needed. The bottle of wine waiting for me was actually my favorite type. I am afraid to leave such an amazing review for the fear it will always be booked. 😊 My son told me we need to stay there all the time now. That is definitely a compliment coming from him. Thank you Jim for your hospitality and sharing this beautiful property.
