Ne manquez pas cette maison lumineuse, spacieuse, avec 2 chambres, 2 salles de bain, transformée et rénovée!

Island Getaway est un A-frame chalet proche plage située à l'extrémité est souhaitable de Sanibel et est certainement l'un d'un genre. Énormes plafond cathédrale flambée et un mur plein de fenêtres apporte la beauté tropicale de Sanibel droite dans votre salon. Nouvelles mises à jour et des travaux de rénovation achevés en 2015 comprennent une cuisine récemment refaite à neuf, une marque nouvelle salle de bains d'invité, et tous les nouveaux planchers de niveau principal. Mignon, confortable et confortable disent tout. L'étage est accessible par un escalier en colimaçon menant à la chambre principale privée, à la toute nouvelle salle de bains principale dotée d'un bain à remous japonais (récemment rénové à la fin de 2016) et d'un espace mezzanine reposant qui surplombe le salon et la salle à manger du premier étage. Animaux considérés (Chiens uniquement). Les draps et les serviettes de bain inclus. Des chaises de plage, des serviettes de plage et un parapluie sont fournis pour plus de commodité.

Great location, great space.

We loved being in the east end of the island. The house has been updated, with a nice kitchen and a killer shower in the master bath. The owner has done a good job of decorating tastefully, and there are giant TVs, books, markers, cards for entertainment if you are at home on a rainy day. Due to the layout of the house, guests can have plenty of space to spread out in the spacious upstairs master bedroom, or in the second bed and bath on the main floor. In addition there is a loft area with a twin bed and plenty of unpacking room! If it wasn’t for my creaky old knees not liking the winding staircase, we would book again next year! A couple negatives: very noisy dishwasher and clothes washer, uncomfortable couches. But the good aspects far outweigh the negatives.

Wonderful month

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Island Getaway. The house had everything we could need, including in the kitchen. The master bed was very comfortable and the shower was terrific. The house was very clean, uncluttered, and comfortable. We were able to take our dog which was great. The beach is a short walk away and there are bike trails to everywhere. The road in front of the house can get busy, but wasn't a problem for us. The property managers super responsive! Overall, it is really a delightful property.

Great month on Sanibel

We loved our stay at this property. It is comfortable, private, well-equipped and a quick walk to the beach, while also easy access to restaurants and other activities. Not only were our dogs allowed, they were welcomed. The only reason we gave the location 4 stars instead of 5 is there’s a steady flow of cars 2-3 hours a day. However, there is a peaceful deck facing the backyard to enjoy during that time and the road is quiet the rest of the day and at night. In truth, we enjoyed watching the late afternoon beach traffic, and the gate on the front deck allowed our dogs to hang with us too. We are grateful for a fantastic stay! We are refreshed and relaxed after our visit!

Steps to the beach!

We got early checkin and late checkout! Ann brought us a toaster oven upon request! And when we locked ourselves out, they happily gave us another key😎 We came from Beaufort SC.

The upstairs bath shower is lovely.The okay: kitchen was adequate but no ice maker or disposalThe annoying: no screens in the large sliding doors nor in the side or back door, the furniture in the living room is uncomfortable—it looks great but is low so getting up is a challenge & the backs are not attached to the base. There are 2 parsons chairs but those are t designed for relaxing.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I thoroughly enjoyed my 2 months here. Beautiful views and an easy walk to the beach. The house was clean and very comfortable. My only issues were the front deck and sliding door need replaced. It would also be nice to have a screen door out to the front deck. The plate in the microwave doesn’t turn. Smoke detector in the downstairs bedroom was broke. Also it needs some major tree/landscaping work done. I almost got hit on the head from a falling coconut. Every time you walk in or out of the house you walk right under a huge palm tree that is LOADED with both green and brown coconuts.

Lovely Time in Sanibel

The location was convenient to restaurants and shops--until the end of the day when Periwinkle becomes congested and East Gulf becomes the alternate routefor local traffic. (It was hard to cross the road with the steady stream of traffic.) The nearest beach was within a nice walking distance along the bike path, although it would have been hard for families with young children to tote their supplies by foot. Although we did not need to sleep 6, it would have been very tight for 6 adults. The beds in the downstairs bedroom were more suitable for children than tall adults. The upstairs master suite was spacious; had a tv and a king size bed. The home was clean, with lots of light, and definitely dog friendly. The agency assisting us was very responsive. We appreciated their help in getting us settled in. It was a good getaway from the winter storms up north.
