Traditional Cyprus Cottage in Village Location with 4 Poster Bed & Romantic Pool

Ladera Cottage is in the heart of the village of Ozankoy near Kyrenia in North Cyprus, within 5 minutes walk of restaurants and bars. There is a regular bus service in to Kyrenia, but car hire and airport transfers can be arranged for you once you have confirmed your booking.

Ladera Cottage was a very successful holiday rental between 2014 and 2017 with many 5 Star Reviews, hosting guests from as far away as Australia and the USA, but has been off the market since. In June 2023 extensive renovation work was completed including a new 45 square metre roof sun terrace with a shaded area, but the outstanding feature of this historical and delightful village property is the plunge pool with seating area, that has a waterfall spilling out of an old amphora pot, and in the evening can be lit to your desired colour via a colour changing light.

The house is original with wood beams and rafters all over, and old antiquities adorn the traditional Cypriot shelving all around the property.

The house is so cool on the lower ground level in the summer, where you will find a traditional Queen size 4 Poster bed and the bathroom. Upstairs is the second twin bedroom on the same level as the living room and kitchen.

The property is very well equipped and offers Wi-Fi for your stay, and there are many books and brochures to inspire you. Whether it be wine tasting, scuba diving, golf or just visiting the beaches and wonderful sites all over North Cyprus, this property is like a step back in time whilst having all modern amenities, and the views of the mountains from the roof terrace are just spectacular.

Perfect for couples, although it does sleep 4. Unfortunately children under 10 are not accepted, mainly due to the safety issues of walking up to the roof terrace via a winding outdoor staircase that has open balustrades, that a small child could slip through. It is not suitable for people with mobility issues either, and anyone over 6 foot tall (like my Fiance!), would have to slightly stoop going through the bedroom & bathroom doors downstairs!

Available from 1st July 2023, at rates barely above those of 2017, so as to get this property rolling again!

If you are interested in renting over the winter months, the Cottage has a lovely open fireplace, and can be rented at very affordable rates, depending on your length of stay.
