Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. House is sparse and not very livable. Futons were listed as queens and were only doubles which made for an uncomfortable stay. Hot tub was not there even though listed. Zero communication from hosts even after reaching out through booking portal and via phone number four different times, including an issue with the furnace/hot water heater that was beeping/showing an error and disrupting us during stay. Separate listing upstairs and very easy to hear upstairs noise and footsteps. Sadly, we live in the area and will not be recommending this stay to anyone as there are several lovely and well managed properties nearby.

The place was not clean. Stains on sheets and other bedding. No controls for heat in unit b. All heat controls for unit b are upstairs in unit an and entrance to unit a is locked to unit b. Sinks are cracked and rusted. Dish washer doesn’t work. Toilet doesn’t flush correctly. Gate locks are all broken. Steps to lower unit are hazardous. Furniture is very uncomfortable and cheap. It is for sale and staged with bare minimum. Upstairs guest can be heard clearly and they have access to unit b and unit bs deck. Parking is very small and driveway is hazardous to vehicles when turning into the driveway your front drags. Driveway is very steep and slippery when wet. Beds are very low to the ground and basically sit on the ground. Carpets are stained by other pets who were not house broken and the wood panel flooring is coming up in places.

We’ve reviewed your concerns and confirmed that the steps, driveway, beds, flooring, dishwashers, toilets, and gate locks are all safe and fully functional. The furniture is fairly new, Unit B has heaters and full thermostat access, and any worn or stained linens have been replaced. The kitchen sink has a minor crack but remains fully usable. We take your feedback seriously and are committed to maintaining the property to the highest standards. We would love the opportunity to host you again for a more seamless stay.

Beautiful views, however...
Not sure if the upstairs people are the homeowners or other guests, but I don't think there's any insulation between the 1st and 2nd floor. Anytime anyone walked where the master bedroom is, the ceiling and walls would shake and it was so loud.
The house and views were amazing, but I don't think we'll stay there again because of the lack of noise barriers between the 1st and 2nd floor.

Great view
The view from the deck of this place was incredible. We also loved soaking in the hot tub. The kitchen is not very well equipped. There was no salt and pepper, no big mixing bowls, the oven didn’t work, and the toaster oven they had in place of the oven was not the best replacement. We had trouble cooking pizzas. It wad also very cold inside and there was no way to control the heating. The staff person brought a portable heater to us right away when we called, so she was very responsive and helpful. It was very clean, and the beds were comfortable. The layout was kind of awkward, because there was only a TV in one room and that was the same room with a big pool table and only two chairs. It would’ve been nice for the room with the couches to have a TV. I would probably stay here again, I would just bring my own kitchen stuff. The deck and the view mostly made up for the inadequacies inside the home.

Pantry items like oils and spices are not usually stored in the home for sanitary purposes. We encourage guests to plan ahead if they anticipate needing additional items during their stay. Also, the owner does not want to purchase a new oven for this home. The heat for BL24b is controlled in the upstairs unit and is not able to be accessed form this home. Our local operations manager will confirm with owner about getting a better counter top oven. We thank you for your feedback, as it helps us improve our guests' experiences. We hope to have another chance to impress you in the future.

No way to control heat/AC. We were FREEZING. No hot tub as promised in listing and even if it worked it is definitely not "private". Kitchen sink clogged. Used toilet plunger to unclog but there was also no stopper so couldn't fill to clean. Kitchen sink faucet loose, spins all around, difficult to adjust handle on/off/temp. TV did not function as promised in listing. No Roku cable. No Netflix. Does NOT sleep 8 guests as promised. Was not "well-equipped kitchen". Only 4 plates. Only 2 pots. No pans. No hot pads or wash cloths to do dishes. No mixing bowls. No salt. Not even close to "luxurious". Sparse, sterile, cold. No couch in TV area. Bar stools too high. No table. Space heaters blew outlets. Other heater didn't work. Upstairs tenants smoking. Can hear their EVERY MOVE (and they were trying to be quiet).

Wouldn’t recommend
Clean, nice view. Two unit venue I didn’t realize that you could hear every step or movement anyone above made which kept my partner up all night. If rest is what you’re after it might be hard if someone else is here.
We asked around 7am if the property manager could ask them to be more mindful we could clearly hear them laughing at her and informing their kids to “run laps” and make even more noise to spite the request. (Even though it was during the alleged “quiet hours” rules in their property guide.)
The property is clearly for sale and they’re renting it to make some extra cash - rentals are not their priority. If you need someone where to stay in a pinch this will work, but I wouldn’t recommend it as a “vacation”.
We left to the beach for a few hours only to return to find 5 cars blocking the driveway with no access to the house. We again reached out to management about what we should do as we were promised one parking space and the above unit was entitled to 2, but it doesn’t seem they enforce any of the rules they have in place. The cars didn’t move for hours.
Unable to adjust the temperature unless you ask but they have heaters available which if plugged in short the fuse and we were out of power in the bedroom and another room till the afternoon the next day. The “private” hot tub is also in full view of anyone upstairs. The view and cleanliness of this place are not worth the discomfort of having horrible upstairs neighbors that aren’t held accountable.
