Adorable little space. Very private although it is shared with their property. Easy to find, easy parking and several shops within 5 minutes including 7 Brew. Fully stocked with amenities. Very respectful clean which I so appreciated considering I do have a difficult time traveling and staying in spaces that are not my own. Great hosts!!!

A fantastic place to stay -- roomy, comfortable, and with a well-stocked kitchen and some nice extra touches (floor fans, water bottles, coffee, toiletries) that many rentals don't provide. The hosts were also responsive and easy to communicate with. Would stay here again if we returned to the area.

We had a wonderful stay at Lisa and Steve's place. The guest house was roomy and comfortable. We enjoyed meeting both Lisa and Steve and really appreciated their hospitality. Communications were always easy, quick and thorough. The guest house had several nice touches that made for an enjoyable stay. Off-street parking was great and the rental was close to stores, gas stations and highways.This was our first trip to upstate NY and we would definitely recommend Lisa and Steve's place to others. Thank you, Lisa and Steve, for everything!

Clean and comfortable

This was a great place to stay! We didn't get to spend to much time exploring the house or the surrounding area, just used it for sleeping and eating breakfast. Everything was clean and comfortable. The hosts were very communicative.

Our stay at Steve’s and Lisa‘s place was excellent. They are beautiful host an would recommend them anytime we will definitely be back if needed it in the area..their location is in a good neighborhood and easy to get to and from to any location in the area. Their cozy little apartment was great. Beds were comfortable places nice and clean really enjoyed ourselves.

Our Views

We were gone visiting family each day we were there, but it was very restful for us during the evenings.We did find it a little odd that neither host made any attemp to contact us the entire time. They also had a sign on their door "Beware of Dog", which seemed intimidating enough for us to stay away. There was no sign of a dog or even an occasional bark.

Charming, old school in-law apartment!

We loved Lisa & Steve's place. It was just right for the two of us. It was great to able to have my adult kids and grandchildren come to visit during our stay. The gas fireplace in the living room was a welcome touch. We also me Lisa & Steve at one point and really enjoyed chatting with them. We would stay here again. The location is also very convenient.

I really liked the ambience of the apartment

It is a very nice apartment. Plenty of space to stretch out. Full kitchen, nice bathroom, comfy bed. It ereminded me of my Grandpa's house - nice woodwork, leather sofa, steam heat (which did a great job keeping it warm and it was quiet!). The area it is in had access to everywhere I was going to visit. Its not in the brownstone stockade area but its not far from it and you get good value for it. I would stay here again! Steve was a great host. Very friendly and always responded to outreaches.

Cozy, Cute & Convenient

The hosts Steve and Lisa were amazing! Communicating with them was a breeze, check-in/out went smoothly. The apartment is cozy, cute, and convenient. The location was great. It was right near everything my family and I needed. It will definitely be our home away from home when we visit Schenectady!!

Would highly recommend

Location is great if you want something near the heart of schenetedy and it did seem to be in one of the better parts of the area. The apt itself was very clean and had all the necessities. I will definitely be looking to stay here again next year for a yearly event i attend at Proctors.

Quaint little apartment

This house was built a long time ago. The apartment is clean. There is plenty of space to sit and relax. I never heard the homeowners although there is a little bit of road noise, nothing crazy. I would stay here again!

Excellent stay at a really nice property

I cannot say enough about the property and the hosts Lisa and Steve. The house is located about 20 minutes away from the Albany airport, so if you are flying in and would prefer not to stay in a hotel this is a great option. The house is perfect for a family of four or less. I stayed with my five-year-old daughter so it was great for us. There is a dedicated parking spot for your car that is off the street and out of view, so you do not need to worry about the security of your vehicle. My cousin who came to pick us up commented on how nicely maintained the outside of the property was. The hosts Lisa and Steve were phenomenal. The morning that we were getting ready to leave my car would not start. I texted Steve hoping that they were still at home. They had already left for the day but turned around and 20 minutes later they were giving me a jump start to my car so I could get on the road. I will always be thankful and appreciate that. They made what could have been a tough day for myself and daughter a minor hiccup. If you are in the Albany/Schenectady area I would recommend booking this property. I plan on using it again if it's available. Jason

Our stay in Schenectady

We had a lovely stay at Lisa's and Steve's place. The VRBO is very spacious and comfortable. Communication with the host was excellent! Thanks for the nice advice on places for dinner!
