Please refrain from smoking inside the home! Any smoking evidence will result in a fee for odor removal and furniture cleaning.

★ NO PARTIES/EVENTS ★

★ FIRE ESCAPE DOOR ★
The living room has a second door that opens onto the building's fire escape. This is a historic 1894 building, and that fire escape is part of what keeps it safe. Here is how the door works, so it is not a surprise when you arrive:

✔ There is a push bar on the inside. That bar is the only thing that opens the door, and it is on your side of it.
✔ There is no lock because the door cannot be opened from the outside at all. No one can come in through it.
✔ Please keep it closed and use the main apartment door for coming and going.

If anything about it does not look right when you arrive, message us and we will answer right away. We would much rather hear from you the first evening than have you wondering.

The home’s thermostat is centrally set to 72°F for both heating and cooling. (Can not be adjusted)
For extra comfort, use the Gree wall unit in the living room (slim white unit with front vents).
The remote is located directly beneath the unit—use it to adjust temperature or fan speed.
