Salty Vibes is located at Milepost 8, between the bypass and beach road in heart of Kill Devil Hills, just a 3 minute walk to the beach access at the end of Pinehurst Avenue. Conveniently located near the Wright Brother’s Memorial National Park and fishing piers and fully equipped for the beach with beach chairs, beach cart and umbrella. Rinse off in the outdoor shower, enjoy the outdoor space with picnic tables and ample seating, or ride the supplied bikes to nearby restaurants and shops.

We loved our stay at Salty Vibes cottage! It is in a great location- just a short walk to the beach and the Wright Brothers memorial. We loved the attention to detail in each bedroom with artwork and books about local sites and history. The set up with one bedroom and bath on the main floor and two bedrooms and a bath on the top floor were perfect for us. The kitchen is huge and has everything you need and nice, new appliances. Comfortable beds and I loved the style. Easy access and wonderful instructions. We would definitely stay here again!

Excellent vacation at excellent property

My friends and I loved our stay at Salty Vibes. The property was incredibly comfortable, and the amenities (bikes, beach cart, outdoor shower, etc.) made the stay particularly wonderful. I would highly recommend to friends and family and look forward to returning myself next time I visit the OBX.

Property and amenities were great! House was very clean and it’s obvious that the owner has thought through what things would be needed and convenient for a renter. A great experience with Salty Vibes

We really enjoyed our trip to Nags Head and our stay was a huge part of that! This felt like our home away from home and made our visit to the OBX a fun memorable one.

Lovely House

The house was great. It’s a short walk, bike, or drive to everything the OBX has to offer. Recommend printing out a list of helpful little things to know about the house; I.e. trash days, check out process, lighting, YouTube TV instructions, etc.

What a great place!

Everything was great - location was two blocks from the beach. Nicely decorated, lots of very new appliances, fixtures, and furnishings. Loved the beds - foam mattresses just the right firmness. Very clean which I appreciated (I’m the AO one in the family). Even had a single serve kuerig and some kcups! Really enjoyed the beach bikes and game room. Super easy to communicate with the property owner/manager. Would have rented this again for the following weekend but was booked. Highly recommend and will be back!

Part of me wants to keep this gem a secret so it’s available any time we want to visit OBX! 100/100 definitely recommend. From check-in to checkout, everything was perfect. The listing is completely accurate-it truly felt like home (not some super fancy condo situation where you’re afraid your 4 year old is going to shatter a thousand dollar knick knack). We were simply comfortable and felt like we were walking into our own home- just planted at the beach. It was spotless- literally the cleaners should get a raise it was so clean. Everything you need is provided down to a beach cart, chairs, toys, etc. Location is perfect, centrally located to all the must see and must do attractions. We were pleasantly surprised with the view from the balcony, a site to see at sunset! It’s a 2 block trek to the beach, but I will caution you- you think you’re in shape until that last dune before the beach, so add “opportunity to assess physical endurance” to the list of things this place offers. :) Salty Vibes will be our go to for all our future trips across the bridge
