The Tree House on Lake George: Lakefront home with private dock!

The Tree House is a newly completed custom waterfront home that blends Adirondack comfort with modern luxury. Our home is built into a cliff-side and offers multiple decks, 3 bedrooms including a private primary suite, an outfitted gourmet kitchen, and 40' private dock.

The house sleeps 7 people comfortably in 3 bedrooms and the loft space. Two bedrooms have queens beds, 1 bedroom has a full bed, and there is an extra large twin in the loft. We also have two air mattresses if needed.

The house has a gas grill, outdoor fire pit down by the dock, and 2 kayaks and one stand-up paddle board for exploring the lake and nearby Rock Brothers Island. Close to the house there are hiking trails in Gull Bay Preserve. Guests are also welcome to rent a boat and park it at our dock during their stay.

Nearby towns and attractions include: Ticonderoga town and Fort Ticonderoga (20 mins), hiking at Anthony's Nose (20 minutes), Hague town (35 mins) Lake George Village (1 hr), Bolton Landing (1 hr).

Lake George has been important to our family for generations and we hope you will visit and fall in love with it too! It’s the perfect place to gather with friends and family, and retreat to the quiet of northern Lake George!

The Tree House

Beautiful views and lots of Hiking & fishing a short distance away. Lots of things to do and a great place to decompress.

Beautiful New Cottage

Wonderful quiet setting, dock with canoes, and entire house were just lovely. The host is very helpful and accessible. This was a VERY pleasant experience!

Very Accurate!!

Excellent property, exactly how it was described in the listing. Owner was easy to get in touch with for a quick question. Water was clear and house has amazing sunsets over looking the lake. Visited Burlington VT and Lake Placid on rainy days. Recommend coming with all the food and drink you need, since you are remote. Kitchen very nice and enjoyable to cook in. Would visit again and recommend to a friend.

Break from reality

Our stay was fabulous! Laurie and Connor made it so easy to enjoy ourselves. The house was gorgeous, clean, spacious but very comfortable and cozy at the same time. While the weather did not cooperate we took advantage of everything the house had to offer. From the Kayaks to the beautiful sunsets off the dock, to stargazing from the top deck. Simple beautiful! We didn’t have to bring anything! Definitely will be going back!

Tranquility

The location offers resplendent views of the lake from every room of the house. Privacy and solitude are in abundance for anyone looking to catch their breath from the hustle and bustle of modern life. Most every amenity has been provided so you don't need to bring much besides yourself and some good food and drink. No need to go anywhere. It's just what we were looking for. The hosts are very responsive to any concerns or needs and are genuinely concerned that you have an enjoyable stay.

Amazing views, comfortable and clean!

Amazing views of the lake from the house and the dock. We were really happy to be able to use the provided kayaks ( Stand Up Paddle was also available) Very quiet neighborhood. Neighbors that we saw were very nice and welcoming. Great swimming and fishing of the dock. The house was very clean, bright and comfortable, kitchen had plenty of room for cooking. 3 Bedrooms set up was private and the additional bed in the loft was very helpful. We all loved to hang out and eat on the deck with such a beautiful views. The hosts- Connor and Laurie were super nice, very professional and always available to answer any questions we had. Our family of 6 (and a dog) had a great time and we enjoyed our stay.

Tree House on Lake George - A perfect retreat

We (3 adults, 3 doodle dogs) stayed at the Tree House for a week in early September and were blessed with fantastic weather (almost) the whole time. We absolutely plan to stay here again next year. The only concern we'd share is that the steps to the loft are very steep, and so as a sleeping space, that should be taken into account for your party. Bedrooms/bathrooms: 5 stars - comfortable, beautiful views, spacious. Good water pressure. Kitchen/Living spaces: 5 stars - prepare meals overlooking beautiful lake and sunsets. Grill on upper deck. dine inside or al fresco. get cozy in front of the gas fireplace. very comfortable furniture. Upper deck was fully enclosed - great for dogs/kids not wandering off. Location: 5 stars - quiet, idyllic, friendly, peaceful neighborhood, with welcoming neighbors. Plenty of space to walk the dogs, lots of green space, friendly chats with residents. 20 minutes to Ticonderoga town by car - no issue for groceries, liquor, take-out dining, or even late night ice cream runs. Lake access: 5 stars - there are 50 or so steps from the house to the lake, but they are very sturdy and stable. No electricity down to the dock, so no lighted swimming after dark. Also, no beach or step access to water, only a swim ladder. None of these things prevented us from enjoying our time here. Hosts: 5 stars - Laurie was great to work with. Super communicative, helpful, and supportive. No questions unanswered within 15 minutes.
