Little Bear Castle 304 is a two-bedroom condo in downtown Gatlinburg. The restaurants, the shops and most of what people come to Gatlinburg for are close enough to walk to, so the car can stay where it is for most of the trip.



Both bedrooms have their own bathroom. A king in one, a queen in the other, and a queen sofa bed in the living room, so it sleeps six. There's a Pack 'n Play if you need it. Each bedroom has a smart TV you can sign into with your own streaming accounts.



The patio looks out over the mountains on one side and the town on the other, which is an unusual combination this close in.



The complex has a heated outdoor pool and a hot tub, open seasonally, and a washer and dryer you can use for a small charge.



The Island is about eight and a half miles out and Dollywood about eleven, so those are drives rather than walks.



Your stay includes $940.00 in complimentary activities. Just by booking with us, you’ll receive free tickets, every day of your stay to top activities like Dollywood, Ober Gatlinburg Aerial Tramway, and more. (One free admission per activity, per day)



Worth knowing before you book

- The walk into town is easy and the walk back has a hill in it. It isn't long, but it's there, and if that's a problem for anyone in your group a rideshare back is cheap.

- The pool and hot tub belong to the HOA rather than to us. They're seasonal, and they close now and again without much notice.

- Laundry is a shared facility in the complex rather than in the unit, and it's coin or card operated.

- The building is older and the parking lot gets tight when the complex is full.

Very nice location in Gatlinburg. Condo was clean, quiet, and the hosts were very engaging. Several texts and emails checking in on us. My son and I were there to hike in the National Park, so we didn't spend much time in the condo except to sleep but the kitchen had all the required stuff.

The apartment was absolutely perfect! Two sizeable bedrooms on opposite of the apartment, which allowed my husband and I to stay up later while our kiddos went to sleep. The kitchen was well stocked with items that we needed (with two children who have food allergies, kitchens are a key feature for us). The living space was comfortable and kid friendly.

Great communication with the host. She contacted us early with all the info and checked in after arrival. Hubby got sick and I twisted my back while packing up and she was gracious to extend our checkout an hour. The property manager stopped by during our pack up and was so kind when he saw me all stooped over. Location cannot be beat. We walked to Anakeesta and other Gatlinburg spots the trek back is one you feel …especially getting up the driveway, but we loved that we could just walk places. Before you book, if mobility is an issue, you may need to drive because there is a significant pitch to the driveway. If you want tom use the pool area we couldn’t figure out how to get in and thought it was closed for the season …nope just a lityle bear proofing —to open the doors, there is a pin to remove at the top of the access doors. My grands loved the little chest of toys and books it kept them busy when we arrived and unpacked and anytime we were in the unit! The decor is so cute and spot on for the charm of the Smokey’s, but the unit is older and small. The reasonable price reflects the small space and small kitchen. The closet in the secondary bedroom is locked for the host’s own things so be aware of that. Again this is fair for the price and location, and not something we minded, just something to note if you are concerned with finishes and updated facilities. We enjoyed our stay. The view is beautiful and it’s walkable to the strip. We traveled with family and my two very old in-laws. They were not able to walk to the strip as it was very steep and we were not able to push the wheelchair down the steep road. The property is clean and located in a good safe area.

The whole condo seemed welcoming with little things like salt and pepper, coffee, sugar, coffee liners, fish detergent, several towels. It was the cleanest place I've ever stayed. The decorations were beautiful! Everything was so cozy and the condo smelled good. Our balcony overlooked downtown Gatlinburg which was beautifully lit up. We couldn't have asked for a better place.
