Min 5 night stay for Summer (June-Aug). Discount for 7 nights on the house and 7th night free on the pontoon rental.

Screened in porch new ammentiy for 2026 with completion of new building on the property (no inside acess to the building; porch only). We do regulary spray for mosquitoes, but for a bug free night the screened in porch will be the place to be!

2023 Princecraft 12 person pontoon with 115 HP EFI motor available for rent, docked at property (booked and charged separately). Pontoon rental will be available from check in to check out. 12 adult life jackets included and stored on the pontoon.

The 2.6 acre wooded property has 210 feet of lakeshore, providing plenty of privacy and lake front yard area to play. Only 1 hour and 15 mins from the Twin Cities!

Newly constructed 3200 sq ft open concept lake vacation house. No need to worry about renting an older cabin that can't stay cool in the summer!

Our luxurious, lakefront cabin has everything you've been looking for with a spacious upper deck, covered lower patio, private beach with fire-pit (firewood provided), and dock. Inside the cabin the open floor plan will allow you to connect w/ your loved ones while still having the ability for private space. This is the perfect place to get away from everyday life and kick back and relax with friends and family.

Fully stocked kitchen with 2 ovens and 2 microwaves for families that like to cook. Walk in pantry to store groceries out of the way. Addtional Fridge and counter space in the garage as well.

Laundry room has 2 washers and 2 dryers availble to guests; Perfect for week stays in the summer and pack less!

2 kayaks and lake matt included with the property rental.

Knife Lake boasts 1250 acres with 18 miles of shoreline and several islands which make for a very scenic ride the way around. 1 bar / gas station (Crows Nest) on the lake accessible by water from their public dock. Northwood's Steakhouse is directly across the hi-way from the public landing on hi-way 65.

Great for winter activities and snowmobiling as well. Knife Lake is on the snowmobile trail.

We recently stayed at this property, and while the home itself was lovely—clean, well-stocked, and very comfortable—our overall experience was impacted by a major construction project on the property. Unfortunately, we were not informed ahead of time. The construction was loud, messy, and intrusive, which significantly reduced our enjoyment of the stay.That said, the host was kind and accommodating, even allowing us an early check-in. Once the construction is complete, I would gladly recommend this home 100%—it has everything you could want. However, until the work is finished, I would advise future guests to proceed with caution.I did reach out to vrbo Sept 19, told them I was uncomfortable with the situation and they offered me no options.

Great place and location!

This is was our 10th year finding a summer vacation stay for our family of 12 and this place will be highly ranked on our list. This house was clean and well stocked with plenty of space to spread out when needed. The beds were comfortable and the air conditioning was a huge plus. We do A LOT of cooking during the week-long stay so the second fridge in the garage was a huge plus, along with the space in the garage to store bins of stuff for the week. The pontoon boat was great to take out on the lake a couple of times. The communication from the owner was great even though we didn't have any needs - it's always nice to have someone check in just in case. The location being a much shorter drive than normal was a benefit as well. This place really had everything we needed and we would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful home

This lake house was absolutely perfect! Beautifully maintained, peaceful setting, and fully stocked with everything we needed for a great stay. The host was incredibly responsive and welcoming. Highly recommend—one of our favorite VRBO stays yet!

Loved staying here!

Apple Maps couldn’t find this location but we figured it out!! The tv was broken during our stay which was a bummer but would definitely stay here again. So much space and loved the property. If you are getting married at ivory north this is a perfect place for your bridal party to stay the night before or after. Will definitely be coming back!

Beautiful home full of amenities

We loved our stay! Beautiful home right on the lake. It was so clean and the pantry was stocked. This is the first time I’ve stayed at a place offering amenities. It felt like home. The only set back is I wish they allowed for more guests than just 12. I’d love to rent this place for Christmas

Great stay for Ivory North wedding

This was the perfect stop for my large family to stay for my brother’s wedding at Ivory North. The place was very clean and comfortable. Beautiful location. Well stocked. Host was very responsive when contacted. We had guests ranging from age 1-65 and it fit everyone’s needs. 15 minutes from Ivory North. Our only regret was not booking the place for longer so we could enjoy the property more. Highly recommend.

We had a fantastic stay at this property! The host was incredibly helpful, ensuring we had everything we needed. The highlight of our trip was definitely the pontoon boat – we had an blast exploring the lake and catching fish. Overall, our experience was top-notch, and we would definitely return for another visit. Highly recommend!

Fantasy Football Draft/Golf/Guys Weekend

We had a very nice stay at this house on Knife Lake. We are a group of 10 (8 came up this year) high school/grade school buddies that have a annual trip for our fantasy Football Draft and to play golf, participate in usual shenanigans and to just hang out. The house was very spacious and well appointed. The local golf course, Spring Brook is very inexpensive and really pretty nice. We did not use the pontoon but spent some evenings on the dock and fire pit area. Also spent a lot of time out on the decks and patio area. Several of us kayaked around the lake which is pretty decent in size, about 1100 acres. All were perfect. Heather is very responsive and everything was seamless. Highly recommend.

Wedding weekend stay

My family stayed here over the weekend of my son’s wedding at Ivory North. We had a wonderful time. The house was very clean and spacious and the kitchen was perfect for preparing meals for our guests. The beds were comfortable! We were able to use the kayaks multiple times throughout our stay which provided enjoyment and relaxation for everyone. Our only negative comment is that the lake water was quite green and mucky, so we were not comfortable swimming.

Summer vacation

A great place to stay with our extended family. The floor plan is well suited for a larger group. Location is nice and private with plenty of room for outdoor activities. It was peaceful and relaxing!

Amazing and wonderful

This property was so very perfect for our extended family group of 12. Spacious and beautifully appointed, there was room for all, and the main kitchen / family area provided everything we needed for all of our family meals. We only left the property a couple times in 4 days for a few essentials. We brought most of our food and there was ample storage space in the two fridges and walk-in pantry. The beach and dock provided for swimming and fishing fun for the kids, as well as the kayaks that were available. The fire pit was a lovely gathering place and the wood to use was right there for us. We also rented the boat and got to explore the lake over the days we were there. It was fun to see and hear the loons on the lake, and watch a resident eagle frequently soar overhead. Finally, the beds were all comfortable and everyone got good rest at the end of each day. We highly recommend this property and the hosts and plan to reserve again next year!
