Great vacation escape

We really enjoyed the stay. Nice condo in a good location and great beach with chairs for use. The only negative to note was the living room area. The furniture could be more accommodating/comfortable. We are a family of 3 and the seating was limited and not very appealing.

Returning again

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Condo was true to advertised pictures. The view from the balcony is spectacular with many comfortable seating options. We did not cook in the condo, but used the microwave and cabinets are stocked with plenty of cups , plates, bowls and silverware. Condo was very clean! The Islander property is an excellent location. Property gym is adequate. My only suggestion would be to put check out time to 11 and keep pool open to 11pm. My 4th time booking with Brooks and Shorey and there will be a next time!

Fall Break Vaca

Condo was exactly as described! Clean, nice decor and property/pool/beach were all great! This is the second time we have stayed at this property and this particular unit and we will definitely be back!

Last minute 4th of July getaway

The unit was as advertised. We chose Ft. Walton Beach specifically to avoid the crowds you find at Destin during the 4th of July holiday. We were completely comfortable and enjoyed the beautiful beach just moments away from the condo. It was a nice surprise to get free umbrella and beach chairs for each day of our stay!

The only complaint that I have is the shower curtains were not long enough resulting in water leaking out all over the floor anytime we showered. Would definitely recommend for others to stay there!

Our first visit to the Gulf

Great location on Santa Rosa Blvd, good parking out front, condo was very close to the elevator, condo was equipped with everything you need, and was beautifully decorated with updated appliances, and was just a very short walk just outside the door to the beach. We will definitely request this condo again.

Pretty updates, but not everything was functional

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The updates to the condo were gorgeous and the kitchen design was genius. The guest bed was terrible, we ended up having to go buy a pillow top mattress pad to make it bearable to sleep on & it was wobbly. Then, one night the bed completely broke when getting up to go to the restroom. The couple staying in the room is about to have a baby so she went sleep on the floor at 8 months pregnant since the sofa is meant for looks and not to actually be sat on since it’s so uncomfortable, not wide enough to sleep on, and there’s also no pull out bed. Brooks and Shorey came to our rescue and replaced the bed frame quickly but I hope the owners get an actual bed. Atleast 3 of the electrical outlets did not work but it was the broken outside one that was the most inconvenient.

King bed mattress seemed too be a little worn out on sides. Over all I LOVED the location and view was amazing. I have walking issues and the unit was very convenient from elevator, pool, and beach. The Islander review

A few things about the room, there was not enough comfortable furniture, the kitchen table and chairs are un sturdy and the chairs feel like they will fall apart when sat on.

Loved the view

We loved the view for sure !!! The space was nice and bathrooms roomy and plenty of towels. We could have used extra pillow cases for the other pillows as we like to use two each. We decided not to rent a car and just used Uber and Lyft, which ended up saving us a couple hundred $, as the rentals were so expensive. We would stay here again.

Wonderful view and quiet

We stay every year and absolutely love the area and how quiet it is. This condo had everything we needed and was very nice and updated. Would definitely stay here again!
