Presenting FUN ESCAPE 1
Welcome to your fun getaway near Starved Rock and Skydive.
Maximum 8registered guests, no other visitors. ONLY ONE PET ALLOWED with weight limit under 35 pounds. See rule section for house rules.
$100 penalty per person assessed for each person over 8. Only Three vehicles maximum allowed.

Just 12 Miles from Starved Rock State Park and just 4 Miles from Skydive.

This home away from home boasts 2 game room areas:
"Friends photo area"
Photo props with hats and glasses,
life size SCRABBLE, mini pool table,
ping pong,
Air shot basketball, AIR HOCKEY,
Pac Man & Marvel Arcade, NBA Games,
Karaoke machine, art studio area
mini golf game and 5 TV's.

Entire house and patio for use. Front and north side yard use only for guests. Open stairway from kitchen and living room are CAUTION for safety, areas overlook stairway to basement. Keep door to basement closed at all times.

If you are bringing along children, please be advised that the house is not entirely childproof and guardians should supervise their children at all times. By agreeing to these house rules, you state that you are aware there are steps, an overlook to the steps (if kids love to jump or climb this could pose a danger), and other factors that could pose a risk to young children if they are not supervised at all times.

All persons are home must be registered, you may not have extra guests not registered for dinner stays or otherwise.
If you decide to paint, there is a charge of $5 per canvas for materials and paint.

Perfect for a group who love to have fun and relax. This house boasts 2 game room areas. All guests
must sleep above grade level of the house.

Other things to note:
NO PARTIES OR EVENTS ALLOWED. No pets or smoking of any kind is allowed.

Patio space for guest, however, back yard RESTRICTED. Please be sure to read house rules completely. Outdoor patio closes 9:00 pm.

Owner is licensed real estate agent, no agency to rental guests.

Family Fun!

Such an amazing place! My family was alway entertained and having a great time in this gem. Everything we needed and more was there. Host was great with checking in with us to make sure we had everything. Would love to come back again!

Fun Place to Stay With Kids

We stayed in this home with 4 of our grand kids! It was clean, in a good location and had TONS of games and activities! The kids loved it! It was also close to hiking, which is what we were in the area to do! However we had just as much fun hanging out at this fun little house!! Would stay here again!

Hiking Starved Rock

This house it conveniently located for hiking at Starved Rock. It is reasonably priced and nicer than the lodges at the park. Host is closeby and quickly responsive to communications.

Definitely enjoyed the home !

Home was very nice and clean and such a nice quiet area . We enjoyed our time in the home and my toddler and 4 year niece had a blast in the activities and toys available for them . Us adults also enjoyed the game rooms and painting. Would definitely stay in this home again in the future .

We had an absolute blast at this VRBO! One of the best parts was that everyone genuinely put their phones away—we were too busy playing nonstop. Air hockey, ping pong, basketball, and card games were the biggest hits, and the sheer amount of games and activities available was astonishing. There truly was something for everyone.In the evenings, we loved winding down together in the movie room, which made for such relaxing, quality family time. The layout was perfect for our group—having 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms was a huge plus and made everything so comfortable.This was also the most well-stocked VRBO we’ve ever stayed in. From coffee to snacks and drinks, they really thought of everything. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and would 100% recommend this place to anyone looking for fun, connection, and comfort all in one!

Life is grand spring break fun!!

First VRBO stay for us—REALLY set the bar high! Teenage granddaughters loved the activities, games and comfy beds. Their grandparents loved watching and interacting with them. Easy to get to, quiet neighborhood, close to grocery shopping, etc. TRULY fabulous and fun.

Good house with tons of activities to do, just in the house alone. Everything was well stocked and the bnb also included complimentary snacks and food which I found very thoughtful and kind. The host was even able to accommodate an earlier arrival time for me. My only suggestion for improvement is that the master suite's shower had a very strong/stinky smell. However, that's not a big deal and the stay was definitely a 5-star experience with all of the options and amenities provided.

So fun and homey!

This place was amazing to stay at! Theresa truly thought of everything to make this house feel like a home. We were visiting the area due to a death in our family, so the house was such a nice escape to take our mind off of everything. Theresa was even nice enough to allow us to book an additional day last minute. She really got us out of a pinch! If you’re on the fence about booking this place, you definitely should! It is even better than the pictures show. So much to do, and they even had a toddler play area for our little one! It was perfect.

Bible Group Girls Getaway

We have a very tight small group who wanted to get away and not go too far. This home was absolutely perfect. You will never be bored in this house or in the area. Thank you for your genuine hospitality and for all that your home supplied to make this an unforgettable girls weekend. We will definitely be back and with our families also. Girls Weekend

We stayed in Theresa's home for a girls' weekend. There were 5 of us. We had the best time. The layout of the home was great with 3 bedrooms, 3 full baths along with games, karaoke, etc. It was relaxing, and we didn't need to leave the house. Very clean; plenty of dishes/utensils, etc. Great outside space as well and a 3-season sunroom. Great, quiet neighborhood. Safe. Theresa was very communicative and welcoming host. We will definitely stay here again. We loved the home.

Cute house with lots of fun activities

The house was exactly as listed. Property was in a quiet neighborhood, easy access to downtown and the state parks. We enjoyed all of the games and activities, especially the ping pong. Once I realized the Ms Pac Man also had Galaga I had to make sure I took the high score. My hand now looks like a claw (Friends reference for those who appreciate this part of the house nostalgia). The house had lots of extras that you don’t see in some of the other rentals, like coffee, snacks, spices, condiments and napkins. Thanks for being a great host.

The Funnest House, For Sure

We had a terrific stay at this property. The kids were constantly entertained by the fantastic game rooms (oh, how I wish something like this had existed when I was a kid!) and the adults had time to relax and chat. There are movie-watching treats (popcorn galore and candy) for the kids and coffee-drinking treats for the adults. We were in the house over the Thanksgiving holiday, so we brought in all our own food and cooked a big meal. The kitchen isn't outfitted for serious foodie cooking, but we had everything we needed and the place felt homey and lovely for the holiday. There was lots of extra bedding, and every room was comfy and cosy. Lots and lots of extra towels (which I happen to appreciate) and well-stcked bathrooms. Theresa checked in with us right away, and I knew if we needed anything she would respond quickly! We never needed to contact her, though, because we were well-provided for. A gem of a place!
