Making Waves provides a place for you and your family and/or friends to relax, kick back and enjoy playing in the game room, featuring skeet ball, darts, chess and plenty of vintage & high tech video games, as well as classic & newer board and card games. We have a speaker that provides music (or you can stream your own music) with fun programmable lighting. There is a fire place and large TV with a state of the art, comfortable, large triple recliner couch with massage and heat features, as well as a TV in each bedroom. The master bedroom has a safe for your valuables. There is a desk and charging station with office supplies for your business needs. There are also two binoculars on the desk for your use. Complimentary WIFI and Netflix are provided or just stream your own personal apps. There is a fully equipped kitchen and dining room with a loaded coffee station equipped with all the extras and brand new appliances, including a washer & dryer. There is a brand new, on demand hot water heater for the extra large shower with both a rain shower and hand held heads. Central Air will keep you cool on those hot summer days and the cozy fireplace will keep you warm on those chilly Autumn and winter nights or turn off the heat mode and just enjoy the ambiance of the adjustable, multicolored flames. We have goats on the premises and a large backyard with a firepit, grill, comfortable seating, a driving range, volleyball and badminton, light up corn hole, bocce, horse shoe pits, basket ball, driving range, croquet, yard Yahtzee and loads of other yard games, as well as a sandbox and sand toys, swings & climbers in our playground area. Next to the entrance is a brand new outdoor shower. We are just one block from Long Island Sound and included with your stay are FREE seasonal passes (Memorial Day to Labor Day) to Silver Sands Beach and Tennis Club featuring three pools, two restaurants, Tiki Bar, Wednesday and Friday Happy Hours with live entertainment, special events and more. Beach chairs, umbrella and sand toys are set up and put away daily for your exclusive use. Beach towels are available at Making Waves. Also, we are just a short drive to our beautiful town beach or Light House Point Park, both have sprinkler parks and playgrounds and there are many other local parks and walking trails. We have off street parking for up to 3 cars. Don’t forget, if you’re in the mood for something more private, you can always hang out in our backyard oasis beach area that we refer to as “Flamingo Beach” with comfortable cushioned lounge chairs for sunbathing and sand toys. You can cool off at the refreshing mister station or run through the sprinklers. There are many games and sports activities provided. Enjoy some s’mores around the fire pit in the evenings. There’s plenty of lightning to enjoy the games or just sit back, relax and watch the stars. Look up and into the trees for magical Firefly lights.

The entryway is a semi-common area, with a security camera, but there is a smart lock on the suite and it is completely private.

Complimentary Seasonal passes are included with your stay offering access to Silver Sands Beach & Tennis Club, a beautiful private beachfront resort less than 5 minutes from Making Waves. NOTE: Beach Club is open Memorial Day through Labor Day. Access to the beach itself is still available through the end of September. You also have the options to enjoy our beautiful, fun filled backyard area filled with sports activities and equipment, yard games, swings and playground equipment, fire pit, grill, picnic table, Adirondack and lounge chairs, beach sand area, misters and sprinklers, garden area, goats or feel free to just walk to the beach or enjoy our town beach, Light House Point Park, Fort Nathan Hale Park, Annex Park and many other area indoor and outdoor attractions.
