One would never know this secluded spot exists. 1.5 acre wooded property features oak, pine, pecan, palms, azaleas, and mature camellias. Perfect for your pet to explore.
Fish, crab, shrimp or just watch dolphins swim or pelicans fly, from your patio, boat, or the private dock. Trail your own boat or rent one and tie to the dock. Close to a public boat ramp. Parking is off road and plenty of room for vehicles and boat trailer. If you arrive in an RV, parking for it too, Sorry no hookups.. Located 2 miles from Thunderbolt, 10 minutes to downtown Savannah and about the same to Tybee Island's beautiful ocean beach. This property offers something for everyone. Beautiful property on Whitemarsh island. Bill and Emma were wonderful neighbors can’t wait to go back. They made sure we had all the comforts of home. Doggies loved meeting new friends! Perfect weather week for graduation and exploring waterway. Home was perfect for us and entertaining guests. Can’t wait for next visit!! Thank you Bill and Emma for all your hospitality!

Lovely appointed home. Owners (in neighboring property) were very nice and accommodating. Owner doesn't text and has older phone, so communication was delayed at the beginning. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend in future.

A great spot - bring your boat.
We fully enjoyed our stay at Bill and Emma's house. The home itself is very comfortable - plenty of room for folks to spread out. Lots of outdoor space as well. Convenient location to just about anything you need. We primarliy picked this rental for the water access. What a great location. Richardson creek is very quiet - very little boat traffic..but with easy to access larger waterways. Boat ramp was less than 3 miles away..and Bill offered to help us get our boat int he water - which was much appreciated. We navigated to downtown Savannah - there is public dock with 3 free hours of docking...we easily navigated down to little tybee island and enjoyed the expansive low tide there - and many other spots. A really great spot for Boaters.. Bill and Emma are very nice and hospitable people. We fully enjoyed our time and hope to return.

Great getaway!
My family and I stayed here for the week. It’s a great cottage with plenty of rooms and a nice open kitchen, big fridge, Viking gas stove…..super nice for those who cook! Bill the owner met us when we arrived with his wife Emma and their black lab “Shotgun”. They gave us our key and showed us around the house. Super friendly people and very genuine. The yard is big and the place is very secluded……we didn’t see or hear anyone else the whole week. Bill checked in on us now and then and was ready to help with any issues…..we had none. If you have a boat, the dock is super nice and a great size for probably up to a 20’ boat. Gas grill works good and there is a fire pit with wood. The beds were comfortable and showers/bathrooms worked great! Old Town Savannah is about 15 minutes away with any store/food you can think of available. Overall, this was a great, quiet, trouble free getaway that we will definitely come back too!

As a long time, and current resident of this coastal neighborhood I have fished the waters inshore and offshore for over 40 yrs. Savannah history and culture, captured me as a young man . I enjoy all Savannah offers and get great pleasure seeing people enjoy the experience. The cottage built in 1941, is among the 1st in this neighborhood which was originally a fishing camp community. This is a Vacation property for people who enjoy fishing, the sights, sounds, history and wildlife activity. of the coast.

Wake up each morning to the spectacular river and marsh. Watching boats go by, fisherman heading out, or coming back. People fishing from their docks,crabbing, or casting for shrimp. The property is just minutes from Historic Savannah, National Parks Tybee Island's ocean beach. Historic sites, fine golf courses, tennis, and many other sites of interest.

This is a 1 1/2 acre private, wooded property, yet close to restaurants, shopping, downtown Historic Savannah and ocean beaches . Quiet and very little traffic.. I call it " COUNTRY IN THE CITY"
