Cute Bungalow in the Heart of Historic Charleston

You don't find many Bungalows hidden in the heart of Downtown Charleston as they are no longer allowed to be built but we have the perfect one for you.

A little history about this house: The main house was the court house and the bungalow where you are staying was actually where the judge for the court house lives. Downtown Charleston no longer allows properties to build on 80% of the plot so this house is special. If we were to tear it down, unfortunately we would not be able to build again so I hope you enjoy staying in this very unique home!

Towels, clean sheets, toilet paper, paper towels, and coffee essentials are all provided.

The driveway can hold up to two cars max but is narrow. For reference, my 4runner can fit but it is tight.

Side note: Shower is a stand up, smaller shower.

A unique quaint house with charm! Surrounded by neighborhoods of classic Charleston style homes with plenty of pocket businesses. Loved the atmosphere and had coffee every morning on the front porch. Hostess Sara made our stay great. Location close to many areas we planned to visit.

Nice apartment, charming, clean, & everything worked! Hosts went out of their way to help us with an issue. Good communications with them. Location is very good for restaurants, shops, Charleston sites. Uber shows up easily!

Great Girls Weekend in Charleston

Sara’s place is centrally located for anywhere you want to go in Charleston. It is also a comfortable place just to hang out and visit with friends.

Excellent location

Location allowed for all experiences- casual dining, better dining, groceries, historical trips, haunted buildings with storyteller, plantation tours, city tours, whatever you desire. All easily accessible. Uber was wonderful. Host very helpful.

Beds are comfortable and having off street parking was key (although very narrow). Definitely had some quirks but overall adequate for what we needed.

Awesome lLittle Cottage

My wife and I, and our little dog, really enjoyed our stay at this sweet little cottage. We were close to everything, the place was clean and decorated well. We will definitely stay here again.

Great location. Near everything without being in the noise of downtown, Just the right size for a couple of friends to spend the weekend. Very clean with cushy beds! Hostess was very helpful with questions.

Adorable historic bungalow

We were in town for a concert with 4 of us and 2 dogs. We really enjoyed our stay. The outdoor area was perfect for sitting and playing card games. I would stay again and I would recommend to friends!

The property is in a great location. The host is excellent, our flight got pushed multiple hours and she graciously let us stay way past check out and was very accommodating.

Super cute bungalow!

We had a wonderful stay at this charming and historical bunglow. We absolutely loved the size for just the 2 of us. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the house was very clean and cozy. We loved the privacy of the outdoor patio area also. It’s a great neighborhood and we appreciated the daily parking passes provided for us since our vehicle was too large for the parking area at the home. Will definitely stay here again and again when it’s available. Have already looked to book again, but it’s rented quite a bit which isn’t surprising since it’s a fantastic place to stay.

We loved our stay here. It was walkable to King St., lots of neighborhood cafes, and C of C campus. Owners were great to work with. Definitely recommend.

Charleston Bungalow

This bungalow is situated close to shops, restaurants and main attractions. It is close enough to walk to whatever you want to see in the downtown area. The driveway is narrow, but the host provided free parking passes which we utilized.

Great Stay

The bungalow was clean & exactly as described. There are smoke detectors & an iron- not included in description. Older home has its quirks, but was a very enjoyable stay. Owner communication was great.

Short Uber Rides Downtown

Cute place. Very narrow driveway not good for bigger vehicles. Comfortable beds. Floors slanted in most rooms due to age. Clean and functional and the outdoor area was nice to have morning coffee and breakfast all within walkable distance.

We loved the location- walkable to coffee shops and great lunch spots nearby and we also walked to King Street too. The host was helpful and communicative when we had a question. I would advise driving a small call if possible for parking in the narrow driveway!

My neighbor and I attended a wedding and stayed for a long weekend. This bungalow was perfect for us as we each had our own room The place was safe, clean, and in a great location, close to local restaurants and shops and very close to the King Street area of downtown Charleston and all the amazing shops and restaurants. The shower is super small but for a short weekend, very doable. Many of the floors are on a slight slant especially the bathroom, kitchen, and front bedroom, but not so much it should deter anyone from staying. Kitchen amenities could be a bit better and we had to buy our own wine opener, but not a deal breaker. The host provided coffee, sugar, and creamer in abundance which was very nice. There is a tiny local grocery store just one short block away. Over all it was an amazing stay, very comfortable, plenty of room for two-four people, very nice host. I would highly recommend this place for a long weekend and would rebook in the future. Ubers are available in minutes everywhere we went.

Perfect for two couples

The bungalow met all of our needs quite nicely. The outdoor area was very private and became an instant gathering place for the four of us whether it was coffee in the morning or cocktails in the evening. As seniors, the first trek over to King street was a bit of a slog but then we discovered Charleston Bike Taxi and all of our local travels became quite manageable. I mention this mainly because parking in downtown Charleston is rather challenging. All in all it was a great stay and I recommend it highly.
