Property was very comfortable and well appointed. Fenced in back yard was great! The location was conveniently located to explore St. Augustine. Only negative was in the hall bath sink there were whisker hairs from someone shaving.

St Augustine get away

The location was perfect! Walking distance to Fountain of Youth , Museums and hop on hop off shuttle. The house was very clean and met our needs perfectly. We were 2 couples with 2 nice size bedrooms and we each had our own bathroom. The kitchen and living room areas were very spacious. I would definitely stay here again if we visit St Augustine again.

Absolutely Beautiful

Location: Fantastic. One-block walk to trolley pick-up. Home was beautifully appointed with every amenity. Comfortable beds. Great front porch and back deck. Could not have asked for more.

Wonderful weekend away!

Our stay at the Peacock Cottage was absolutely wonderful! The host was very informative and easy to communicate with, the property was beautiful, and the location is incredible! We really appreciated the house was in the heart of major attractions, and yet the neighborhood was quiet and decorated in beautiful oak trees.

Charming!

It was fantastic! Rental was as described! Appreciated the off street parking. It was crazy busy downtown between the holidays so it was nice to relax in a quiet space! We had some rain many days so we used the covered porch more than the back patio.

Cute comfortable cottage

Met friends there to enjoy Festival of Lights in St. Augustine. Peacock Cottage was perfect for our stay. It offered plenty of room for the three of us, great location near downtown, and easy access to Hwy #1 for the times we wanted to venture further out. The weather turned cold when we first arrived and due to the limited parking downtown we opted to Uber there one night and had no problem getting the service for the short drive to and from the cottage. It was clean and cozy. Beds were comfortable. The neighborhood was charming and we especially enjoyed watching the peacocks in the morning. The hostess promptly responded to my inquiries whenever I reached out to ask a question. i would definitely use this same property again.

Good location but be careful

We enjoyed our stay. The cottage was clean and comfy. It was great we could bring our dogs and let them run around in the fenced backyard. Our rental was close in proximity to The Fountain of Youth where my son's wedding was. There were 7 of us and we had 5 cars because of all the wedding items we had to bring. Two cars fit in the rental's driveway spaces, the other 3 were parallel parked across the front of our rental on the road within the property boundary. Sometime overnight someone key'd all 3 of our cars that were parked on the road. They did a thorough job on each car and it's going to cost thousands in repairs. The host said she's never encountered this issue before. Anyhow, it was super disappointing to end the wedding trip this way. We won't give in and stay away like the vandalist hopes. Instead, we will be back and will book again. We will be vigilant in where we park and will have our security cameras on.

Fantastic cottage!

This cottage was absolutely perfect for our stay during my daughter’s wedding in St Augustine! The property was immaculate and the location was very close to downtown (right next door to the Fountain of Youth). The host was very responsive and took care of anything we needed! We couldn’t have asked for anything better!

This property is in a great area on a beautiful street within walking distance to the historic area attractions and shopping. The home was very well equipped and the host provides everything you could possible need. We truly enjoyed our short stay and are looking forward to coming back and staying again.

Peacock cottage

Beautiful cottage just as the listing shows! Cheri was a great host, contacting us right away when a storm blew through and knocked out power for a short time. New AC unit kept us very comfortable in July. Great location, a few steps to Magnolia street, trolley is a block over and a quick drive to Vilano beach. 10 glorious days spent here and we didn’t want to leave! Highly recommend Cheri and the Peacock Cottage.

Relaxing Getaway

Great location by Fountain of Youth. Pet friendly. Able to reach the owner at all times. It has everything you need from dishes, cookware, bathroom products, laundry soap, iron, dog bed and bowls (if needed but I brought mine), cleaning products. I packed way too much when I didn't need too. The door you had to give a good push but managed just fine. Yard is well maintained. House looks just like the pictures and spaced out well. Would stay again.

Charming cottage in perfect location

This cottage was the perfect place for my small group of friends to have a St Augustine getaway. The house is beautiful, in a lovely quiet neighborhood, within walking distance of the Fountain of Youth, and a short drive to all of St Augustine’s activities. Cheri responded immediately to questions and was helpful and caring about some initial trouble with the door lock and a maintenance issue. We would stay here again. Something to be mindful of is that the second floor isn’t insulated, so it gets hot during the day. It cooled off at night and was comfortable. Thanks for the great stay!

Cute peacock bungalow

Location was great! Also enjoyed coffee on the porch with the peacocks in the morning. Never had an issue, so never had to contact the host. Would stay again.
