Great place and perfect for a short stay! We arrived a few days early to relax and check out the area before a cruise! It’s only a few minute walk to a beautiful beach, on the ocean.

Perfect getaway

This place was a perfect fit for me and my sister in law, it had everything we needed for a weekend getaway to Florida! The walk to the beach was a straight shot and the rental had an umbrella and chairs and sand toys! It was clean and cozy. Will definitely keep this place in mind for the future!

Wonderful Stay

We had an amazing few days before we got on a cruise. The place was clean and well stocked. We got fantastic dining tips from the host and also visited the Brevard Zoo during our stay.

Great location

This is a lovely apartment, very small but perfect for a couple wanting a get away to the beach which is only a couple of blocks away! The swamp cooler needs to work very hard as it warms up but the bed was very comfortable and clean.

Great spot

What a great location for our couple of days in Cape Canaveral. We were close to the beach which made morning beach walks super easy. Nothing was more than a few mins away. Everything you need is provided and the place is super comfy. Will definitely choose this location again when visiting family in town.

Good Place to Stay

The Surf Shack was found as listed. It is clean, located near to the beach, near local sights and offers easy check-in. It has all the amenities for a couple of days stay. It is definitely sized for 2 people only. My only suggestion is to get a small table and 2 chairs in the kitchen. It is totally doable in the space and makes eating so much nicer :-)

The property is close to beach but lacked outside seating. We were disappointed in the appearance of the building and grounds. The place was not wired properly extension cords everywhere. The appliances looked like they came from Goodwill. Would not stay again

Surf Shack without a Table

The property was very nice for one, and I suspect it would work great with two people as well as the bedroom was real good size and had a very comfortable queen size bed. Bathroom was clean and roomy, but the walk in shower was tight, just 32" x 32" overall. The living room sofa was very comfortable and could serve as a bed for a 3rd person if needed. The home accents were very nicely laid out and decorative, giving the Surf Shack a real homey feel. Only thing that I missed was a kitchen table and chairs. Yes, I generally eat in bed or on the sofa at home, so it was no issue to me, but I know some people prefer eating at a kitchen table with chairs. Not really enough room for one at this place, unless you take something out of the Living Room/TV Room and re-arrange the furniture. The beach access was a short 2-3 minute walk down Tyler Street and there was a parking space marked for each Apartment right there in front of the building. I really enjoyed myself, although I wished the weather was a little sunnier and warmer, but when you go to Central Florida in January, you don't always get mid 70's and sunny every day.

Nice little place for 2

Nice small place before cruise. Owner communication was fast before the stay but then had to wait on response because owner was out of the country. The lights above the kitchen were blinking which meant they needed to be replaced. The cleaning person should have noticed it but didn't. A total of 3 bulbs were out and the next morning someone knocked at the door with a box of light bulbs but since I was still in bed and my husband wasn't dressed, my husband took the box and changed them himself. He left the extras on the refrigerator. We had trouble with signing in to the TV. We use YouTube TV and the bedroom already had the YouTube TV app on it but the living room tv did NOT and when trying to add it the TV it required a password to download the YouTube TV app. The owner said that she had no idea and she said no one else had ever had that problem. Could only watch free apps on the living room tv. I sent her a picture that showed up requesting the password but either she didn't get the picture or because she was out of the country she couldn't get it but never heard anything back. The kitchen sink .was dirty and when I put my bedroom socks back in my suitcase I noticed how filthy they were. The floors obviously were very dirty. Plus the only place to hang up clothes was a little plastic hanger in the corner of the bedroom. I will suggest that she needs to attach it to the wall because one time I put my coat on it and the whole thing fell on me.
