MERMAID’S COVE**Cozy condo two blocks from the beach

This studio is a small apartment located five minutes from Cocoa Beach Pier and two minutes from Cape Canaveral beach. You will have the entire condo to yourself. Beach towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, WiFi and Netflix is included. There is one queen sized bed with 100% white cotton sheets. The living room area features a flat screen tv with Roku to watch Netflix and YouTube and a sleeper sofa for extra sleeping. The full kitchen is off from the living room and has an oven, fridge, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, pots, pans and more to prepare any meal. There is a washer and dryer located outside of the front door, across the hall. The bathroom is off from the bedroom area and features a tiled shower. 7/11 convenience store is a two minute walk. No pets allowed. No smoking. Parking is free.

Generally, the place was nice although it is showing its age. Location was great with the beach, shopping, and dining within walking distance. unfortunately, loud neighbors upstairs, not that the owner can do much about that.

So close to the Pier

My dad stayed at the condo for 30 days. So close to Jetty Pier and was able to see 3 space lift offs at Cape Canaveral. Conveniently located to restaurants and grocery stores. The condo is small however was perfect for him. The owner was very responsive when he couldn’t figure out how to work the tv and any other questions we might have had.

COZY, CLEAN & CENTRAL LOCATION

Check in with super easy. Everything we needed for a comfortable stay was inside the apartment including including Wi-Fi info. Connecting with the host was super easy. Janees responded almost immediately every time I messaged her. We loved it! The apartment was so cute and clean. Beach access was at the end of Washington street with parking, so getting to the beach was just 2 minutes by car. I believe it might be a 4 or 6-block walk. It is centrally located to get to Cocoa Beach or Kennedy Space Center. It's 1 hour from Disney. 3 hours from Tampa. I would recommend this VRBO to my family and friends. I would stay here again in the future. It was at a great price, as well.

Peace and Tranquillity

Loved first walking in and having the cute lil welcome message on the board. It totally made the stay. Cute little place with everything I needed. I loved the peacocks walking around. The bed was super comfy and the walk to the beach wasn’t far at all.

Okay ! For what your working with

It was alot smaller than I was expecting. And the area was not great, just random things going on all around you. Whoever stays right above this unit sounds like they are bowling from about 1 am to about 7 am.

The property was sufficient for our stay, the area was concerning for safety outside apartment. Unfortunately the washer did not work because "the tenants that live in the apt's, rig it to run for free" according to a gentleman that lives there and tried to assist me. Certainly not the owners fault, but the residents are again somewhat concerning. It was close to a Convienent store, and easy for Uber to get us to places. Bathroom was very small and could use a little update. Overall, good for the price.

Cocoa beach trip

Pros: 1)host was very nice and quick to answer my request that made my stay better 2) the place looked just like the pictures 3) price of the stay was on point for the area 4) condo size good for only 2 people 5) she provided several towels and shower gel 6) neighbor was nice 7) provided a couple snacks/ bottle water and coffee cons: 1) there were roaches all over 2) the floors were dirty 3) the kitchen needed cleaning and more bowls and baking dishes 4) the bathroom needs a lot of up dating and TLC 5) bedroom tv controller wouldn’t work 6) dining table is to small only seats one person 7) living room tv controller won’t allow you to turn up the volume 8) the ac controller is broken so it was very hard to control the room temp it stayed more on the warm side 9) the washer/dryer is a pay as you use shared unit in the hall 10) the walls are to thin and you hear everything above you which started at 4-5am with heavy walking and etc, side walls were the tv and stereo noise throughout the day11) the beach was not a walk but a drive it was around 3 blocks away 12) the neighborhood is very questionable I wouldn’t feel comfortable out at night.

Perfect for us!

We loved the cozy room. Didn't use the kitchen (other than storage) because we were on the go, but has everything that is needed. Very close to the beach and shops/restaurants. If we ever make it to Cape Canaveral again we would stay again.

Disappointment

This property is actually only one room. We were 3 adult, for us it was uncomfortable. No Space even for eating. Maximum for one couple or singel person. The neighbors are quite noisy. 3 stars from 5

Not as advertised

Very, very, small with dirty floors and throw rugs. So much light on the buildings and street, only light blocking curtain on the front. No door to close between the kitchen and bed in the back, so it was like sleeping under a spotlight. I bought light blocking material to put on the kitchen window. We had to ask for bath towels & a kitchen towel was brought, looked like it was used to wash a car. We stayed for 16 days, and when our trash was full, so was the dumpster, when I asked where the replacement trash bags were, at first was told they weren't included, then she ordered them and they were delivered two days later. We used our laundry bag for the trash. This tiny room is in a residential building, not a great neighborhood. Good neighbors, kind of junky apartments for blocks around. The beach is several blocks away. The best thing about the place was the water pressure and the instant hot water in the shower. We would not recommend this rental. It's cheap for a reason.
