Welcome to The Lighthouse Lodge, This Sound Front home has amazing Ocean Views and it is located in the Private, Gated Community on the East End of Ocean Isle Beach!! The desirability of this location is second to none and you will be in awe of the views the moment you enter the community!!

The Space:
This home has 4 very nice sized bedrooms so everybody is happy and the primary suite is on the top floor to maximize the incredible views. The home offers two living rooms, 3.5 bathrooms, and oversized porches front and back in order to entertain all of your guests.

We loved everything about the Lighthouse Lodge. It was the cleanest VRBO we have ever stayed in and had everything we needed. A couple of suggestions: more trashcans in the home, maybe a sunshade on the kitchen deck on the end where the table is, hooks on the back of the bedroom and bathroom doors and maybe a hammock or swing on the porch off the first floor out by the pool. Just some things that might interest other guests as it would us. Even with the hurricane churning out at sea this was an awesome family vacation for our family ages 20-90. Thanks for allowing us to enjoy this beautiful home.

Property is very nice! This is located at the very end of the beach with beach access being 5-10 minute walk and about 10 minute golf cart ride to the nearest restaurants/shopping. There’s closer beach access within the gated community, but it’s a very narrow strip of the beach that gets swallowed up by the high tide very quickly. The house is in a gated community, but the gates never shut during our stay, probably due to the construction of the new houses going on within the community. The thermometers are also locked and don’t go below 69 degrees, but there are plenty of ceiling fans and it wasn’t an issue for us. Forrest was very responsive and helpful during our stay. Would stay here again!

Great "New" Beach house and Amazing Views

Beautiful brand new beach house. Fantastic views as the neighboring lots have not been built on yet. Amazing location in gated community. Everything new!! For the price per night I would have expected the little extra things that we have had at other "higher end" VRBO's. Such as a wine opener, a full propane tank (had to go refill it ourselves last minute), extra toilet paper (some full rolls and some half rolls in bathrooms, no paper towels for the kitchen, no hand soaps in any of the bathrooms (had to go buy our own), originally no hair dryer but the property contact person did bring one the next day. No salt or pepper. These are small things but at the price point these things were just an inconvenience. The only semi major thing was 2 of the guest bedrooms and the Jack and Jill bathroom developed ANT's (probably due to the storms that came through there several days prior) in the rooms and one of our guests got bitten quite a lot and both guests in those rooms had to sleep on the couches the last night. Not the owners fault about the ant's of course but disappointing at what the price point per night is that our guests having to sleep on couches. I'm sure they will get these items corrected for future guests and compensate as appropriate. OVERALL AN AMAZING PROPERTY AND WOULD STAY AGAIN WITH MORE ATTENTION TO THE SMALL DETAILS!
