Totally renovated and very modern 1250 sq, Two bedrooms, Two and half bathrooms apartment, historical Victorian house.
Close to Capital building, Eastern market, national mall, Navy Yard, wharf, anacostia park in the heart of capital city.
Very Easy street parking, a lot of restaurants and grocery close by. 15 min walk to metro station . bus stop and bike share 3 min walk by the house.

Great host, great location

The apartment has everything you could possibly need, and is in a great location, just a 10-15 minute drive to all the DC sites. Highly recommended.

Great Spot, Friendly Host

This was a great property, clean, and comfortable. Our host greeted us when we arrived and provided information about the area - restaurants and grocery stores. It is very close to Navy Yard! It was an easy walk to the Metro to get to the Mall.

Wonderful experience

Very smooth and comfortable stay. The neighborhood itself seems underprivileged but the apartment felt like an oasis. Great communication with the owner. We enjoyed the decoration (and the Persian touch, which made my friend and me feel at home:)) The apartment has everything you need and is quite spacious.

Cute Comfortable Stay

DC was a blast. But after each tiring day it was nice to come back to a comfortable environment. We didn't have to contact the host while we were there because everything that was needed was in house. I'll definitely would stay again.

Amazing apartment

Amazing newly renovated apartment. 15 mins from all the Washington D.C. sites. Goats was amazing!

Came to DC with my husband and another couple. We were there for the “tourist experience “. Unfortunately with the government shut down, many things were closed. We would have liked to postpone the trip for another time, but it was already too late to cancel, so we made the best of it! We still had an amazing experience with friends!!Very private home. Perfect size for 4 adults or a small family. The kitchen had everything we needed. The host was very responsive and available to bring anything we needed (extra paper towels, etc). He gave great suggestions - with directions - for shopping and, even though he lives in the home above, it was still very private.Overall, great experience!

Spring Break in DC

The stay was great. We were greeted upon arrival. Parking was always available on the street in front of the house. Short drive to National Mall parking. Would recommend.

Memorial weekend in DC

We really enjoyed our stay here. It's close to downtown and easy access to the major tourist sites. The host was quick to respond to messages. There's a good barbeque place a couple of blocks away. The hosts live upstairs but are very quiet. Beds were comfortable. A private and cozy place to relax after a day spent exploring the city. Definitely recommend and would stay here again.

Nice accomodations, Nice area, Nice price

Located in Anacostia neighborhood. Short ride from downtown. Comfortable and clean accomodations are located in basement of owners living quarters. We were not initially aware that owners would be upstairs from us, but this was not a problem. We were respectful of their space and they respected ours. Very nice people.

Not worth the money that was paid

Disappointed. When you pay over $1,000 you shouldn’t have to wait a day for washcloths or to wait until the shower is repaired to take a decent shower.
