Welcome to Seabreeze Hideaway! Newly Built Vacation Cottage – Enjoy 4WD Beach, Wild Horses, Wildlife & Waterfront Views

Come relax and watch the WILD Horses off the pavement in Carova Beach. Enjoy the sunset from this this newly built canal front vacation beach cottage located just minutes from 4WD beach fun. Facing the West and the canal you will enjoy sitting on the porch and watching the fish jump! Plus otters, turtles and ospreys are regular visitors. Swim, Fish, Crab, Paddle Board, and Kayak from the canal dock!

Main Bedroom has a king bed and a large walk in shower with rain head from ceiling. The other 2 bedrooms are suitable sized with queen beds. Highchair and pack-n-play provided. Cozy living room and an exceptional farm house kitchen/bar create the perfect vibe for your family. High ceilings, pull out couch, bar stools, and hot tub, comfy porch furniture for your morning coffee! Large glass doors and windows face toward the sunsets and the canal with porch shades. Downstairs has a hottub, porch swing, grilling area, outdoor patio set up, firepit with seating, outdoor shower, propane grill (propane provided). Please also enjoy cornhole boards, kayak, stand up paddle board, life vests, dock ladder for canal swimming, canal raft, beach umbrella & beach chairs, boat parking on private dock.

Relaxing get away

An amazing house with everything you need to relax. Only down side is the long beach drive out to restaurants and tourist activities.

Such an amazing time! So close to the beach so it was easy to bounce over and catch the sunrise. Even on a partly cloudy morning, nothing compares to a sunrise on the atlantic. The home is incredibly cozy and the beds are comfy! The host was easily reachable if anything was needed.

Canal cuteness

This cozy, well-decorated, and updated cottage was the perfect spot! No need to stay on the beach bc you drive your car with all your gear straight on the beach. Beach pass was included. Hosts were great. Lots of additional activities onsite to enjoy.

Our hosts were extremely hospitable and kind! The house was immaculately clean, everything you could possibly need was there. We had a medical emergency with our son and had to leave in a rush, left our wallet and the hosts were kind enough to go grab it and will be shipping it to us. I cannot thank Kristen and Cory enough for being so understanding in such a stressful situation. They went out of their way to check and see if our wallet was still at the house and they are willing to ship it back without complaint. What more could you ask for? The location is beautiful, we really want to come back when the weather is warmer so we can see the horses (dang snow storm got in the way!) Thank you Kristen and Cory for everything.

Excellent Get Away

Property was nice and well maintained. Love the canal access and that it didn’t take long to walk or drive to the beach. Plenty of room for the 5 of us to relax and lounge in comfort when the sun got too hot! We would definitely stay here again.

Holiday getaway

The house was absolutely beautiful! Kitchen was great to cook in, comfortable bed, lots of space, beautiful view of the canal and horses. The hot tub was a nice addition. Overall, a relaxing, peaceful, and quiet getaway!

Perfect Getaway!

The perfect getaway! Secluded enough to relax but close enough to local shops and restaurants. A hidden gem of relaxation with the excitement of possibly seeing a wild horse around the corner. The owners were friendly and helpful and the house was perfect!

Relaxing and fun filled vacation!

This house, this location, was all a slice of heaven. We had a blast staying here. The house was so cozy and welcoming with the decor and live plants. Felt like home away from home. There was so much to do. Horse sightings, kayaking, fishing, beaching it, water trampoline, hot tub, games, cornhole… was a special, quality time filled vacation. Highly recommend and we can’t wait to come back next year! Oh… and the ice machine! Never knew I needed that in my life!

Grateful Road Warriors

It was the perfect place to end our road trip.The Seabreeze Hideaway offered everything we need to enjoy it. Never been to the Outer Banks, but after my first visit it will become part of our travels in the future. Kristen and family have a great place in a great spot. Clean and everything up to date made it easy to enjoy our time there. We will definitely return to Seabreeze Hideaway if Kristen and family will have us.

Corolla stay

The house was beautiful and had everything we needed and more. Renters are very responsive and even let us come down a day early to avoid coming in during a storm. We enjoyed our time with our family here and enjoyed the horses everywhere, especially in the front yard. Highly recommend this home in Corolla.

Perfect vacation home, quiet, peaceful, and well laid out property. Loved cruising the 4x4 beach in my Jeep wrangler daily. They also had all the amenities you could need for your stay. Our young son and my husband enjoyed the kayaks on the canal for early morning fishing while I enjoyed the gorgeous mornings on the lovely porch enjoying my coffee and the horses that greeted us every morning and evening during our stay. Our daughter enjoyed the paddle board, while we grilled in the afternoons watching the osprey's. Evenings in the hot tub or on the porch viewing the stars and moon with the kids from the telescope were also a nice treat. House was very clean and decorated so tranquilly. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you!!

Great Gamily Trip

Our family of five had a really nice stay. The house was clean and inviting, was nicly decorated with live plants, and had all essentials needed for cooking. The hosts were friendly and responsive. Our kids enjoyed the jump pad and boogie boards that were provided and the adults enjoyed the hot tub. We saw horses on the street everyday and in the yard one evening. The beach was easily excessible and wasn't overcrowded near this location.

Just what we needed!!!

It was a wonderful weekend stay, the hosts were very nice and helpful all the way through the checkout process. The property was very quiet and relaxing. We saw lots of the local wild horse's which just made the stay that much better. The only downfall of the trip was the weather a couple of days, but that just made it perfect for the hot tub and relaxing and napping which is the main goal of any vacation. Do yourself a favor and book here and make sure you drive around the area and check out the beauty that surronds you. Thank you again for an amazing and relaxing weekend getaway!!!

The best place on earth to be!

The house was beautiful and clean and had a beautiful view. The horses visited us everyday including the day we were packing up to leave. We found huge whelk shells, starfish, and even a sea urchin. The dogs loved chasing the waves and the seagulls down the shoreline. Our 4 runner handled the sand great. It was a lovely stay and we will be back again within the year. great communication with homeowner as well.

Absolute perfection

This was hands down one of our favorite vacations! Everything about this house was fantastic. For starters it’s gorgeous and beautifully decorated. It’s stocked with everything you can possibly need and the location is perfect. It was so nice to get away from the regular grind & just relax. We’re not really good at relaxing, but here it was pretty easy. From soaking in the hot tub to chillin’ on the covered deck sipping our morning coffee it was exactly what we needed. We took multiple walks daily throughout the neighborhoods and saw so many beautiful wild horses. We couldn’t think of a better way to spend our Anniversary weekend than this. Your home is so beautiful and it’s quite obvious the pride you take in maintaining it. We will definitely try to make it back here again.

Idealic setting close to beach

This home is a paradise for those who want a private secluded setting close to the beach. It is about 30-45 mins driving on the beach off the paved highway. Requires a 4x4 vehicle which we had. It was a delight to see the wild horses roam about in the yard. The home was clean and had all the amenities needed - beds were VERY comfortable and kitchen had all the necessary items. We used the kayaks graciously provided by the host. The host was VERY responsive and easy to contact. They gave us a heads up that we needed to bring water for drinking and cooking as well water is used by house, which was easy to accommodate. The beach was heavenly and less than a mile away (10 min walk) or a few minutes by car. You drive right onto the beach so no need to drag a heavy wagon with beach chairs around. Lots of games to play with a backyard grill and fire pit. Make sure to bring plenty of mosquito spray after all it is a beautiful secluded area. Loved the experience.
