All was good. Nice home and great location. However, a/c was not working when we arrived - was frozen due to a dirty coil. Owner was very responsive and had tech out first thing in the morning. Housekeeper was very nice, helpful and courteous.

The stay was disappointing and did not match the listing. On arrival, the front door keypad had no instructions, and host communication was minimal — only one welcome message on Oct 28 with no replies to occupancy updates or arrival questions. The property layout was misleading: the master was shared with a built‑in twin room accessed only through it, the master bath was a walk‑through to another bedroom with two beds, a futon in the entryway counted as a bed, and one bedroom had a double. Photos did not show this setup. Bathrooms lacked privacy, with stained glass showing silhouettes and doors that stuck shut. The AC panel had no instructions, the kitchen smelled of mold and lacked cookware, and laundry required payment not disclosed in the listing. Cameras surrounded the house, blinds were opened from the back house, and it was never disclosed someone lived there, leaving us feeling watched.Communication remained poor, with only that initial message plus photos of a guest near the back house. Check‑out was confusing, as the book said 10am while VRBO said 11am, and the maid arrived at 10am, speaking only Spanish. She accepted leftover vegetables but did not clarify if she lived there. Overall, the property felt unsafe and misrepresented, privacy was compromised, and guests felt watched like by a “peeping tom.” On Nov 18 after leaving, I was told I owed extra money for two guests — something that should have been disclosed upfront, not after the stay.

The home was very nice in a quiet area and was as advertised. Only disappointment was the house was very warm. We asked for directions to turn the air conditioning higher. Instructions were provided but not for several hours at which point we had already checked out.

Great house with lots of room. Very clean and comfortable. Nicely furnished. Thermostat was a little tricky to use; a brief set of instructions would be a welcome addition. We very much enjoyed our stay!Thank you!

Very cute property with plenty of room for all of us to enjoy. The air conditioner wasn't very efficient which made for warm nights but otherwise it was a wonderful place to stay

The house wasn't bad for say, but when we first got in, it was hot. I think they turned the ac on less than an hour before our check in. No fans either, celling or floor. At night it finally cooled off. For the short time we were there and needed it for it was good. Only 1 TV in the living room and no fans would be my only problem with the house.

House was nice. Not too far of a walk to get on the shuttle for downtown. Just be aware that if you have more than 6 then you will be charged extra. We had a few family members who surprised us and had more than enough space, but I guess that’s not acceptable. Other than that it was a decent place.

Great location - suited our needs

The property was great for a short stay. The beds were comfy and the house was clean. We loved the backyard space. Lots of things nearby. Check-out was easy. The tiny room that was considered a 4th bedroom was too hot to sleep in and not really a bedroom but my daughter just slept in the big king bed with me. Glad we didn’t have any laundry to do because it was 1.50 per load per machine. We all enjoyed the property and our stay overall.

Less than satisfied

Overall, I was somewhat disappointed. There wasn’t adequate cooking equipment (ie pans) to make meals. Ventilation in the bathroom was less than adequate. Crack under the door allowed for a lizard to come in to the house.

Comfortable and Unique

Everything in this VRBO was definitely above the subpar level. The beds were comfortable and everything in the description most fitted. The only ick I would say that would improve is to have better communication with the cleaning lady. Other than that, the whole stay was immaculate. thank you, Norwin!

Wonderful stay in a lovely and conveniently located home

Me and my husband truly enjoyed staying in Norwin’s home. It was situated I a lovely and quiet neighborhood that was close to the beach, brickell and coconut grove. We had all the necessary amenities needed and the home had a nice patio with bbq grill. Norwin was a great host, always responsive to our needs. Looking forward to coming back and staying there again.
