Excellent stay

This property is in a great location with a marvelous view. Easy access to local attractions and services. The property is well maintained. My family had a fantastic time here.

Our family had a wonderful stay. The cabin is clean and modern with a well equipped kitchen. Beds were comfortable. Large flat yard leading to the lake was great for family fun and games. Very convenient location for access to the Cuyuna bike trails.

Property suited our needs. We had seven total and never felt crowded. We ate outside or in and both tables accommodated us. My boys enjoyed making high scores on the pinball, skipped stones off the shore and now want their own kayak. Loved the family of loons that would swim by. Kitchen had all our cooking gadgets we needed. Thank you for an awesome week!

Great MN Lake House!

Had a great time, and the location was perfect for the event we were attending near Deerwood. We enjoyed the little beach, and wished we had more time to spend.

Beautiful fall day at Reno lake!

This is a beautiful property on a quiet lake. We really enjoyed the foliage and the view from the clean spacious living room. Would highly recommend for anyone looking to spend time in the Crosby Deerwood area.

Great Property, Great Location

We had such a great experience at this location. We have rented in the past and this was by far the cleanest, and most updated property we have stayed at. The towns of Crosby and Deerwood are adorable. A wide variety of good restaurants are nearby. The lake and beach are clean and easily accessible. Would certainly rent again!

Nice, clean well stocked property.

We enjoyed our stay here. The kitchen was well stocked, the beds were comfortable, and the location was nice.The property was nicely updated. The only negative at this property was the noise of people walking upstairs if you stayed in the downstairs bedrooms. Keep in mind if you have light walkers this won’t be an issue. Owners provided great communication.

We absolutely loved our stay at this property! The location was perfect—peaceful and scenic, yet close to both Deerwood and Crosby, which made quick trips into town super convenient.The spacious yard was a huge bonus. We brought our mini goldendoodle and kept her leashed in the yard—it was the perfect setup for her to enjoy the outdoors safely.Fishing right off the shore was a highlight—nearly every time the kids cast their lines, they caught something! It made for some great memories. The swimming area had more weeds than we expected, but the incredible fishing more than made up for it.Evenings around the fire pit were a family favorite—perfect for roasting s’mores and unwinding after a fun day.The cabin itself was very clean and comfortable. Kitchen storage was a bit limited compared to other summer cabins we’ve rented, but we made it work by storing our food in reusable grocery bags along the dining room wall, which worked just fine for the week.All in all, this was a wonderful place for a relaxing family vacation!

Great stay in Deerwood near Heartland hockey camp

Three families stayed here while our kids attended Heartland hockey camp during the day. The included kayak, paddle board, and life vests were great perk to have. The kitchen was well stock with dinnerware and enough pots and pans to make meals. The added bonus of a baby high chair and pack’n play was great to contain my infant.

Thanksgiving Family Vacation

Our stay was nothing short of amazing! The property exceeded all expectations — it was immaculately clean, beautifully decorated, and equipped with every amenity we could possibly need. The photos truly don’t do it justice! The location was ideal, close to everything yet peaceful and quiet. Ashleigh and Brooks were incredibly responsive and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, even leaving thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and can’t wait to return! Highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a perfect getaway. Family Vacation

We had a wonderful time at this property. The home was exactly as described; plenty of room for 6 adults and 4 little ones under the age of 4. The beach/swim area was perfect; the little ones had so much fun on the Lilly pad and the adults enjoyed the kayak and paddle boards. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed as far as dishes, bowls etc. and plenty of towels Our adult kids loved the Espresso machine and created their own beverages (Black Russians and martinis) so they appreciated the bar tools and glassware. The baby gate and highchair were very nice to have as well as the washer and dryer. Overall experience was great!

Nice house in a great location

We stayed three nights with our daughter, son-in-law and almost 5 year old grandson. They all have mountain bikes and enjoyed exploring some of the local trails. My wife and I also biked the paved trail. House was well appointed and had everything we needed except a carrot peeler and aluminum foil. Our hosts responded quickly to questions. Lovely experience all around.

Paradise on Lake Reno

Our stay was mostly perfect. The house is so clean and spacious. The owner made issues known to us beforehand and did their best to send supplies needed and are working to fix issues. The kitchen is well supplied. There were comfortable beds for all 9 of our family in the 4 bedrooms. Our favorite thing was definitely the huge deck with an amazing view of the lake. We ate out on the deck comfortably almost every meal (only rained during dinner once). Perfect lake for paddle boarding and it’s also close to the beautiful mine pits and amazing mountain bike trails. Wish we could have stayed longer, we had such a wonderful family vacation. Thanks to Ashleigh and Brooks! Your home is great!

Peaceful Lakehouse, great location

Just of the main highway, but felt like it was a world away. Great location. We had a son at Heartland hockey camp and it was perfect to be away, but close enough to check in. Check in was easy. House had just been "cleaned". Lots of pet hair in carpet (I'm very allergic, and noticed immediately). A deeper cleaning would have been much appreciated, but was still tolerable. Needed more towels with the number of our party, but the ability to run laundry helped tremendously. Propane was about 1/4 full and ran out during one of the uses. Filled up for next guests at least. So many fun things at the cabin that we used: big yard, kayaks, lily pad, fire pit, grill, and games. Wonderful amenities and updated cabin. Wish a boat was available, but rented poontoon at Bay Lake for a day just down the street. Overall, loved the cabin, amenities, and the location. An amazing trip with minor issues. Owners were very easy to get a hold of and work with. Would stay again for sure!!

I will admit first that this is my first time using VRBO or staying at a vacation rental that wasn't a hotel.The kitchen is very well stocked. They have a super nice blender, and kids plates and silverware are available. The coffee pot seemed to be more than I wanted to deal with so I brought my basic drip coffee maker from home .There are tons of towels and the house rules seemed more than reasonable.There is a house rule of no shoes in the house. I contacted the hosts and let them know I have bad feet, they just asked me to forgo shoes in the carpeted areas and make sure I wasn't wearing muddy shoes in the house. That was more than fair.They have a grill for use, first night we tried to use it, it seemed to be struggling to stay warm, but we got through making the chicken. The next night, the grill just didn't want to warm up past 210 degrees. Plenty of propane so totally not the hosts fault.The water toys were fun. Now my adult kids are thinking a kayak or paddle board may be in their future.The reason for the four stars.1. In the upstairs bathroom they have a giant shower head, but the house doesn't have enough water pressure for it and it makes for a very weak shower.2. No one thought the beds were comfortable, they were okay... But not great in our opinion. 3. Before laying all of that brand-new flooring, no one thought to add some nails to the sub-floor. The house squeaks and is very very loud when you walk around.But, I would stay there again.
Our last night and we finally got decent weather.
