Essayez quelques jours à Cape Cod cet automne. Les couleurs et les couchers de soleil sont exceptionnels.

Endroit charmant juste en face de Baker's Pond. La maison est spacieuse avec de beaux planchers de bois franc partout et l'air central nouvellement installé. Le confort de la maison comprend la télévision par câble dans le salon, une connexion Wi-Fi, laveuse et sécheuse au rez-de-chaussée. La cuisine a tout: lave-vaisselle, micro-ondes, mixeur, grille-pain, cafetière et bien sûr, un casier à homard. Vous allez adorer l'ouverture entre la salle de petit déjeuner et la cuisine.
Vous êtes également invités à utiliser le garage et tout équipement de barbecue et de loisirs que vous trouverez.
L'emplacement est idéal ... à 5 minutes à pied de la plage de sable nichée sur Baker's Pond. Vous pouvez nager, faire du kayak, du canoë ou du poisson. Cet étang est rempli de truites et de bars à petite bouche.
Explorez «l'ancienne voie» - des routes de retour dans le parc d'État de Nickerson. Idéal pour une aventure à pied. Il est accessible à environ 2 pâtés de maisons / 10 minutes à pied jusqu'à la route. Les directions vers la «voie antique» figurent dans notre livre d'or.
Il y a de grosses vagues à Nauset Beach, à 10 minutes en voiture, où vous pouvez nager, faire du boogie board ou simplement marcher sur la longue étendue de Cape Cod National Seashore.
La plage de Skaket, sur la baie de Cape Cod, est à seulement 5 minutes en voiture. L'eau est plus chaude que Nauset et à marée basse, vous pouvez marcher pendant près d'un mile.
Rock Harbor (parking gratuit) est juste un peu après la plage de Skaket. Organisez une sortie de pêche sur l'un des nombreux bateaux charter ou regardez-les simplement apporter leurs prises.
Nous avons également répertorié un capitaine de pêche préféré dans le livre d'or. Rock Harbor est un autre bon endroit pour sortir "à plat" à marée basse. Vraiment amusant pour les enfants! Et ne manquez pas le coucher de soleil sur Cape Cod Bay-WOW!

Perfect Cape Getaway

We had a wonderful week at this property. The space worked great for our family of four. The house is in a fantastic location, set off from the street and a short walk away from a terrific public pond. The mossy and partially shaded yard was amazing for our two toddlers, and the living room and bedrooms were well balanced and comfortable for the group.

The house was wonderful and perfect for our family of four. We felt very at home and it was obvious it is loved and cared for! We have stayed in many different houses on the Cape, and this is one of our favorites so far! There was so much space in the living and dining areas. The bedrooms had ample space and the beds were so comfortable We had everything we needed, and it’s in a great location near many of our favorite places, Nauset Beach, kayKing on Nauset Marsh, Nickerson State Park, biking, Cooke’s Seafood and Bancock Thai to name a few. Central AC and laundry are such perks!Thank you!

Very Comfortable Home

I do not use the word home lightly. This property feels like home, not a rental. It is in a fairly secluded quiet location but very close to our favorite beaches on both the ocean and bay side. Thank you again for a perfect stay.

Wonderful week at the Hinkle House

We truly enjoyed our week. The house is spacious yet cozy and we had everything we needed. (On our wish list if one is picky though, would perhaps be an outdoor propane grill.) The area is kind of secluded with lots of trees surrounding the house. But the 6 Highway is very close and something you clearly hear when being outside. We really enjoyed Bakers pond, a 2-min walk away, for morning and evening swims. Also Cliff Pond some 25-min walk away through beautiful Nickerson State Park was perfect. The owners where very helpful and answered very fast when we contacted them. Thank you Carol och Guy!

Great Location in a Wooded Setting

The fully furnished home (minus linens) is in a secluded wooded section of Orleans near Bakers Pond. Access to the pond is just down the road, as is the trailhead into the conservation land. Drive a few minutes and you can enjoy the expansive beaches of the Cape Cod National Seashore. The screened breezeway at the house provided a very pleasant seating area with no mosquitoes. If you want to save time, order groceries ahead online at Shaws and choose the convenient and free drive up and go option.

Exactly What We Needed

Our stay at 11 Hinkle Lane was perfectly relaxing and comfortable. The home is spacious and has many of the necessities you would need throughout your stay. A great location for local beaches and activities, and Bakers Pond is just a short walk from the house - for a nice afternoon swim. We are very happy we chose this home.

Perfect Cape Cod Getaway

10 minutes from Skaket Beach and Rock Harbor, this property was perfect for our family of fours summer vacation. A very comfortable house with an endearing history. Lots of space, comfortable beds, well fitted kitchen, and air conditioning! What a difference that makes. A great location, away from the major tourism bustle but close enough to all the interesting places to visit. We highly recommend it and when we go back to the Cape in the future, hope this home is still available. Lifelong memories from a wonderful trip.

I was very pleased with the property. The air conditioning was very much appreciated.

My family and I were very pleased with the property. Although there were only two bedrooms, there was plenty of room for entertaining and privacy. The two full bathrooms were adequate for a family and a few guests. An additional positive feature of the house was the air conditioning. The system worked very well and the week we were there we were very comfortable despite the 90 degree days. The house was located well off the street in a quiet neighborhood thus ensuring privacy.

Cape Cod at it's finest

My wife and I spent our 20th anniversary at this property. The amenities were second to none. The feel was warm and comfortable, very much like home. Impeccably maintained, quiet and clean, the location couldn't be better, minutes from the bay and the ocean, we were in heaven. Baker's Pond, right across the street, was an amazing place to swim and just relax sitting on the beach soaking up the sun and getting to meet some of the locals. The owners were kind enough to give us directions to a little out of the way parking area at Rock Harbor, what amazing sunsets! Sunrises at Nauset beach were well worth getting up for. We enjoyed the proximity to the diverse selection of dining establishments in Orleans. The property owners were so helpful in suggesting areas of interest and some of their favorite restaurants to try, they truly made our stay memorable. Thank you.
